Danny is a seventeen year old in High School. His bright blue eyes stuck out against his tan skin, and wavy black hair. Tattoos covered both of the young mans arms, one of which was the Italian flag. He was looked at as a rebel, maybe he was. He wore a green button up shirt, ripped jeans and a leather jacket, his usual attire. He lived in a two bedroom apartment with just his mother. It wasn't the best apartment but it wasn't horrible. Danny was an only child and his father wasn't in the picture. That's a story for another time. Him and his mother don't get along at all. She's terrible to him. Why is that? Does it involve his father? That's a secret that Danny keeps to himself. That's not the only secret he has though. Danny finished getting ready for school, getting into his usual attire. He walked out of his bedroom and into the kitchen, it was a pretty small kitchen. One really small table and of course the necessities you needed. His mother was sitting at the table eating her breakfast as she typed away on her laptop. Danny rolled his eyes and looked in the fridge seeing there was barley anything.
"So no food for me or?" he asked.
She rolled her eyes at him. "You're a teenager, make your own food" she sternly told him.
"Yeah I would if we had anything, are you going shopping at some point?" he spoke in an annoyed tone back to her.
"Don't talk back, just get to school, going to be late like usual, not like you even get straight A's to bring home" she rolled her eyes.
Danny rolled his eyes as well and grabbed his backpack and slammed the door behind him and headed off to school.
Once he arrived to school he ignored most of the people that said hello to him. It sucked being a jock in High School, everyone loved you because of that, no other reason. He wished he never became a football player but he loved playing. He just wished people in the school weren't terrible. The only good thing was his friend Taylor. They have been best friends for awhile, Taylor knew how shitty people could be and how shitty Danny's mother could be. They usually hung out at Taylors home and if things got bad Danny would sleep there. Taylor was also on the football team with Danny, people were mean to him since he was openly gay. Taylor wore a light blue shirt, a denim jacket and blue jeans. He also wore a rainbow tie. His hair was a dirty blonde and he had green eyes. He had pale skin as well. Danny walked to his locker and put books into it and shortly he was greeted by Taylor.
"Be blessed! I got McDonalds!" Taylor cheered, holding two caramel Frappuccino's in his hand and two bags of McDonalds.
Danny rolled his eyes. "Isn't it to early for McDonalds? Its not even 8am yet" Danny told him.
"Well duh, I got the breakfast option, look!" Taylor explained and handed Danny one of the drinks and goes into the McDonalds bag and pulls out a tray that has pancakes. "Delicious right?" he smiled.
"Yeah I'm not really in the mood" Danny told him and handed the drink back to him and looked into his locker.
"Your mom again?" Taylor asked.
Danny sighed and slammed the locker and leaned against it. "Like usual, she's a bitch but somehow I'm always the bad guy" he told him.
"You know its not you she's angry at right, its your stupid father" Taylor indicated.
"Don't talk about him okay, I don't even know if he's a bad guy, I never met him" Danny told him.
"I know but what kind of good guy could he be if he left both of you because your mom got pregnant?" he asked.
Danny rolled his eyes. "Maybe he changed.. Maybe he's good now.. And I'm not a baby anymore.. Maybe if I found him--"
"I know, you want one good parent, but just don't get your hopes up" Taylor told him and touched his shoulder to comfort him.
