The next day Danny and Taylor were getting ready for school, they couldn't keep skipping sadly, they didn't want to get behind. It was a nice break and a lot happened and they both definetly weren't ready to go back to school. Danny and Taylor finished getting ready and sat down at the kitchen table. Ralph sat at the kitchen table reading his newspaper while Rose was finishing making breakfast. "Good morning" Ralph greeted them as he flipped to the next page of the newspaper and sipped his coffee.
"Good morning! Breakfast is done!" Rose called out. "Do you boys mind setting the table?" She asked and both Danny and Taylor started setting the table for her and set started putting food on everyone's plates. "You guys ready to go back to school?" She asked and sat down at the table. Both Danny and Taylor looked at each other, they didn't even have to say anything, Rose read their mind. "I know its not fun going back after having a little break but the weekend will be here before you know it" She told them. Danny took a bite of his bacon and gave a small smile. He was still stressed about last night but he hoped it would all work out.
Everyone finished their breakfast and Danny and Taylor got their school bags. "Don't forget your lunch!" Rose called out and quickly handed them two paper bags full of their lunch. Danny wasn't use to this.
"You made lunch and breakfast?" Danny asked.
"Of course sweetie! Why did you want money instead? I think I have a $20".
"No! No this is fine, thank you, thank you so much" He smiled and Taylor opened the front door.
"Have a great day!" She smiled and Taylor and Danny said goodbye and headed off to school.
Danny and Taylor held hands as they walked to school. "How are you feeling about today?" Taylor asked. Danny sighed and shrugged.
"I'm not really sure, I mean its fine for me, not really for you".
"Don't worry about me, its not a big deal, the worst that happens is homophobic remarks which I can tell the principal, oh nooo" He laughed.
Danny rolled his eyes and smiled slightly and then sighed. "You're sure you're okay with us taking things slow and me not being out?" He asked.
"Danny its completely fine, and besides with everything going on it needs to be slow". Danny sighed and nodded in agreement.
"I really appreciate you, You're so supportive and I really need you, especially now". Taylor smiled and stopped walking and pulled him into a kiss.
"I need you too but for different reasons, I really like you." They both smiled and headed into the school, little did they know Alex and some of the football gang drove past. Alex was in the passenger seat and quickly snapped pictures of them holding hands and kissing. "Did you see that?? I fucking knew it!! They don't know what's waiting for them".
