Danny and Taylor brought all the things inside that they bought, Taylor helped Danny with the sheets and all the boring things, all that was left was decorating. "My mom will make dinner at some point, I'll let you do your thing, you know where to find me" he chuckled and then walked out of the room. Danny looked at all the things and figured out where he wanted everything, eventually all the décor was done and he started unpacking his bag and put his clothes and other things away. Once he finished he laid on his bed just admiring it all. It looked like his old room but better, happier, safer. He was alone in his thoughts for quite some time, he sat down at the desk that was in his room which had a mirror.
He looked at his bruises that he had on his cheek and by his eye letting out a sigh. Did he want to have his mother pay for what she did? It wasnt even like that, it was having justice, showing that what she did was wrong, but did he really want to go through all that pain again? Maybe it would help him move towards a happier life, it was already better. A new place to live, good people, and having Taylor? He needed to do it. While Danny was in his head thinking about what to do Taylor had already walked into his room.
"Wow it looks so good in here! Doesn't even look like the same room!" Taylor looked around admiring it and sat down on the bed. He noticed Danny didn't answer, he was just staring in the mirror, like he phased out or was in a trance. "Hello? Still alive in there?" Taylor questioned and still Danny didn't answer. "Danny?" Taylor called out his name which got him out of the trance and turn around.
"Oh hey! Didn't even knew you came in".
"Are you okay?" He asked.
Danny sighed and walked over to the bed and sat next to him. "You were right..". Taylor looked at him confused.
"I was right about what?" He asked.
"About my mom.. I want to go through with it.. She needs to know what she did was wrong". Taylor immedietly pulled Danny into a hug.
"She'll pay for what she did to you". Danny shook his head in disagreement.
"Not pay.. Justice".
