Klara wanted to channel her full attention into the rehearsal, trying her hardest to ignore the big rockstar-esque elephant in the room. Not only because it was being recorded, but because she had to prove herself, though at this point she didn't even known to who.

She let her mind be consumed by her own song and her body unconsciously followed, effortlessly dancing along to the choreography. She felt her mood lighten by the second, after days filled with worrying and uneasiness, she was finally enjoying herself again. This is what she came here for, to have fun. To spread her music and to simply have a good time, she needed to remind herself of that more often.

Klara had always doubted if she truly belonged on stage, having written most of her songs from the comfort of her bedroom. But this time, everything just felt right.

She had only been doing music professionally for a couple months now, though her journey with music started years ago. Klara had written and released several songs on YouTube and Spotify already, but her career really took off when she signed with Astrid. Astrids skill for management and marketing made her become a rising star in the European music industry. She wasn't very well known yet, but she had some fans spread across the continent, probably enough to hold a small concert.

Writing was an outlet for Klara, a way to channel all of her feelings into something positive. She had tons of rough drafts that she didn't bother to finish, unreleased songs that would most likely never be released, and the list goes on. Music was more than just a career path for her, it was her passion.

Klara still remembers showing her mother and her partner the song she wrote about them, it was one of her first works. It was about how love can make you do things beyond your reach, describing how her mother moved to Italy for the sole purpose of being with her loved one. The look in her mother's eyes said everything, she was so proud of her daughter. It's still one of Klara's most fond memories and she held it close to her heart.

Her father was less supportive of her career. He spent her whole senior year of high school trying to get her to go to college, which worked... In a way.

Klara did end up going to college, taking some months off for Eurovision, but she was studying music, which wasn't exactly to her father's plan. He wanted her to choose a subject that could serve as a "plan B", as he called it. She understood where he was coming from of course, but Klara told him she had to do what made her happy. Her father eventually let it go when she showed him there were actually a lot of careers in the music department that didn't involve producing your own stuff, so she wouldn't always have to be dependent on her audience.

And with the undying love and support from her mother and the grim approval of her father, she went off to college.

"We're like the modern version of Bonnie and Clyde~"

As the last words of the song left Klara's mouth, the room was filled with loud cheering and applause from the Italians and the staff. She smiled nervously as her background dancers came up to her and engulfed her in a big hug.

"You did great sweetheart." Hilde whispered, making Klara smile even wider.

"So did you guys. I can't believe it. We're going to do this in front of the whole continent!"

The group laughed at her realization, letting go of the hug. Astrid called them down to talk about the performance, giving them some tips here and there. She let them go after a few minutes so they could talk to their 'audience'.
