"Hey, how are you feeling?" Thomas asked, watching the girl slowly realise where she was and what had happened.
"I'm... What are you- Ow!" Klara's rambling suddenly coming to a stop as she felt a strong pain in her head.
"What happened? Did you hurt yourself when you fell?" He immediately put his arms around her to stabilise her, sitting her up against the wall and checking for any wounds.
"No, I just... Um..." She couldn't form a coherent sentence, partly due to the shock but mostly because she realised how close they were to each other. The older didn't seem to notice, being too wrapped up in making sure the girl was okay.
Klara chuckled a little as he checked her arms, making the man look up at her. "What?"
She smiled even wider, not exactly knowing why. "Nothing."
The two sat like that for a while, Klara backed up against the wall and Thomas facing her, his grip on her arms loosening as he lost his focus on her pain. Instead, his attention went to her face, her eyes specifically, looking into them as she stared back. They couldn't look away from each other, not that they wanted to anyway.
Small smiles tugged at the corners of their mouths as they did everything to fight them, trying to stop them from showing. The little spark in Thomas's eye that Klara loved so much had returned, his eyes twinkling as they glid over her face, taking it all in. Klara probably thought she looked like a mess, but to him she always looked beautiful to him. Even if she was laying unconscious on the floor in sweatpants and a zip up hoodie.
He grinned as he caught her smiling at him, as if they had unknowingly entered a competition. Klara grinned back at him, mimicking his facial expression. It reminded Klara of that one night they spent at the beach back in Italy, a memory that was dying to be relived.
"She's fainted sir! She... Oh thank God!" Miss Bauer suddenly burst into the room, accompanied by a medic.
The unexpected noise caused the two to jump, promptly looking away from each other.
"Miss Bauer, I'm so sorry!" Klara apologised, Thomas lending her a hand to help her get up from the floor. "I must've scared you!"
"Don't apologise dear! I'm just glad you're okay." She smiled, pulling the girl in for a hug.
The medic ran a couple of tests on Klara, just to be sure, before disappearing and telling the girl to take care of herself. This wasn't the first time Klara had gotten herself sick, though she never fainted before, she occasionally spent days writing and working on her music in her room. It sometimes got to the point where Hilde had to use the spare key to unlock her door to make sure she ate and drank enough.
Thomas had gone to retrieve his wallet, telling Klara to wait untill he was back so he could escort her back to the hotel. The girl was currently waiting on him, letting Miss Bauer take of her makeup in the meantime. The woman made her promise to get something to eat soon, preferably with the 'gentleman who had helped her', which Klara playfully dismissed.
"I got it! You ready to go?" Thomas peeked his head around the corner of the dressing room. Klara nodded, hopping off the chair and bidding Miss Bauer goodbye.
"Thank you so much for helping me young man! You're a true hero!" Miss Bauer praised him, patting him on the back, making the man jump slightly.
The guitarist laughed nervously. "All I did was sit there with her..." He mumbled, but Miss Bauer insisted he had saved Klara's life.
They said goodbye to the woman and the medic, thanking them for their help as they went to leave. Thomas keeping a close eye on Klara, worried she would become unwell again.
