Spiritia, a place full of magic and wonder. In this magical world lies a kingdom. The Spiritia Kingdom lies at the heart of the land. The king and queen rule over most of the land, caring for their people as if they are their children. The king and queen have two children, with another child on the way.

"Princess Dawn, are you excited for your new baby sister?" a harpy flies over the eldest princess. "I hear that she's going to be more like her mother, according to the images of course."

The princess laughs, closing her eyes as she replies, "I am, Chikki! My baby sister is gonna be super cute! But Silver is grumpy about it," the violet/silver-haired girl sighs, "I just want us all to be best friends," Dawn rubs her eyes a little. The brunette harpy flies down and wraps her feathery arms around the small princess. The four-year-old sniffles and hides her face in the harpy's hair.

"Aw, don't cry, Princess Dawn. You will be best friends and if not, it's okay. Not everyone can be friends with everyone," Chikki reassures her. The young princess moves away, wiping her eyes. She straightens her back and dusts off her dress, putting on a brave face. She turns to Chikki and gives her a thumbs up.

She gives her thanks and bolts down the hallway. Chikki watches as she runs away. Dawn turns the corner and keeps on running towards the throne room, planning to hang out with her parents. A big smile sneaks onto her face as she can't wait to hear updates on the baby. The large doors of the throne room were the only thing standing in her way! She shoves them open and bolts in. "Mama! Daddy! How's the baby?"

Dawn stops as she sees her parents sitting on their rightful thrones, facing a few of the Spiritians involved with big business. It seems they were in a meeting that the young child interrupted. The queen giggles, finding her daughter's outburst to be amusing. "Dawn, dear, we'll be with you in a few minutes. We just need to finish up this meeting. Can you wait in the dining hall?"

Full of embarrassment, Dawn nods her head vigorously. "Okay, Mama. Sorry about bursting in!" she runs out, trying to avoid any more awkwardness. She goes to the dining hall as instructed and sits at the large table. The small princess sighs, slumping onto the table. "Mama and Daddy are always so busy with stuff, they never have time for me..."

"Dumb Dawn. Baby is bad!" a voice snaps Dawn out of her thoughts. She turns to the source of the voice and sees her one-year-old sister sitting in the chair. How has she not noticed her until now? Silver seems to be growing up much faster than other children do. Usually, babies don't have such negative opinions on others until they are about two. "Dumb Dawn."

Unlike Dawn, Silver got their father's hair color: silver. It makes her feel out of place with the other kids who have vibrant hair colors. Nowadays, children are harsh and with species separation going on, it's tough. The younger daughter jumps from her chair, stomping away from her. For such a small child, she is full of anger. Yes, the two felt neglected since their parents were always busy running the kingdom. Chikki and Syness primarily raised them. Their parents have little to no time to spend with their kids. Now, with the new baby, Silver is feeling betrayed. She thinks the baby is behind the neglect, which is a childish assumption.

"Princess Dawn? Are you ready to meet your baby sister?" Chikki flies down, landing with a soft thud. "Your whole family is already there, even Silver."

Dawn smiles brightly, "Yeah!" They walk towards the throne room, now seeing it is empty. All those people must've been there to officially declare the baby to be a potential successor of the kingdom and royalty. She bolts down the throne room, arriving in front of her parents. To the slight left of her parents was a bassinet, containing the newborn. Silver stands by it, glaring at the floor, pouting angrily. The eldest child looks in, smiling happily. "What's her name?"
