They weren't lying when they said that the training might take awhile. It has been about five years and Angelina is tired, tired from all the training she did. She could use most of her Spirit Beasts' powers, but is still unable to summon them. She practiced elf magic and even had an elf come over and help her. He was friendly, a bit too friendly. It turned out that he was after her magic and wanted her to help him destroy a human village. They ruined his home due to extending their property and he wanted her to destroy them. She found this out quickly, even though she's seven years old. She is already the height of a twelve-year old human girl.

Derek makes the training harder now, sending her on missions to help others in danger. They even spend some time helping the humans. They refrained from visiting the Spiritia Kingdom, in favor of Angelina's emotions and because they weren't ready. Today, Angelina and Echo are told to go to the Forbidden Forest and get these special berries. The berries are for someone who has a sick mother and the Forbidden Forest is too dangerous. Yet, not too dangerous for Angelina and Echo. They leave the others behind, starting their journey.

Echo is leading as she knows the path more than Angelina and that she can understand the map. She's been around when she was just a baby. She could remember the smells and sights. "Why are we walking again?"

"Come on, it's not that bad! We get to see the rest of Spiritia! I've only seen a few things, but I've never seen the Forbidden Forest!" Angelina squeals, looking around as she remembers the few things she's seen. She's seen Castle Mibskit and the Rainbow Falls. Yet, the Forbidden Forest has always been a place no one would be excited to go into.

They walk and walk, passing through the small desert and seeing the Worm Hole there. Angelina pesters Echo about it. "No, we aren't going in there! The worms are huge and they have tripod mouths full of sharp teeth!" Echo shrieks. She points at the cave, "Never go in there! They don't come out and we don't go in. Everyone's happy."

"But I wanna see the dangerous worms!" Angelina pouts, trying to sneak over there. Echo smacks her with the rolled up map, hand on her hip in a sassy pose. "Hey!"

"I said 'no' and I am in charge. Now, let's go. They wanted the berries in a few days. It shouldn't take us that long to get there and back. It's over 300 miles but I can just fly you there," she smiles, tucking the map into her bag before setting it down on the ground. She takes a step back and her body is covered in this bright light, Echo's form being changed into a much larger form.

The light dies down and where Echo's human form once stood, is a big dragon with fluffy fur and big wings. It looks similar to Echo in colors and its eyes. "Whoa! You can turn into a dragon?"

"Well, of course. All dragons and dragon hybrids can shift between our human-like forms and our dragon forms. But us dragon-wolves are better, cause we're super fluffy and cute!" she replies, her voice deeper and has a bit of a growl to it. "Hop on and don't forget the bag. Also, hold on tight!"

Angelina does as Echo has asked her, snatching up the bag and climbing onto the female's back. She grips her neck fur tightly, signalling Echo to set sail. The dragon-wolf jumps and her wings spread up, flapping her into the sky. The air gets thinner fast as Echo is full speed into the sky. She must be going pretty fast as the wind feels as if it's scratching Angelina. Not scratching where it hurt her, but left a tingle on her skin. She watches as the land belows zoomz by, Echo flying up and down, dodging the mountain tops and just having fun overall.

"This is so cool!" Angelina screams, hanging as tight as she could onto Echo. She doesn't have the best experience with using her wings, even after all this time. Her flying really sucks and she struggles staying in the air. Her wings just don't want to listen to her! And here is Echo, flying all around the sky at fast speeds with no problem. The girl couldn't help but feel envious at her flying skills.
