13.

My eyes sprang open, and I sat up, darkness greeting me and making my heart rate increase more than what it already was. I feel my chest tightening, making me gasp for air as I frantically look around. I could feel the bed shift, and it took everything in me not to scream. They grumble, making me realize that it was Katsuki.

"Katsuki." I whisper. "Katsuki."

"Mm." He grumbles.

"It's dark." I say scooting closer to him. The bed shifts once more, and I feel his arms snake around my waist.

"Breathe, Marie." He grumbles. "Take a deep breath, exhale slowly. You know I wouldn't let anything happen to you. Your eyes will adjust to the darkness. Everything in this room is still the exact same as it was when the lights were on."

"But–"

"Hey, you trust me don't you?" I feel him lay his head on my lap, his warm breath caressing against my stomach, his arms still around my wait.

"Yes." I breathe, trying to find his entire body in the dark room.

"So trust me when I say everything is fine." He yawns. "Tell me what you see."

I take another breath, when my eyes finally adjust to the darkness.

"The TV." I mumble.

"Good." He says. "What else?"

"Your study desk." I answer.

"Good." He replies, his grip on my waist tightening. "Keep going."

I take in another breath. "Your closet door that you never close."

He chuckles. "Lay your ass down and go to sleep." He says. "Like I said, everything is still the exact same. Nothing is out of the ordinary."

I found myself smiling seeing how my eyes adjusted to the darkness, his room becoming more clear to me, finally seeing his body next to mine. His arms around my waist and head in my lap. His face turned towards me, his eyes closed.

"No." I say.

He removes his head from my lap, and with one hand on my forehead pushing me down on the pillow. I giggle a bit when he throws the blanket over my head. I move the blanket, scooting even closer to him, seeing that his back was to me now. I put my arm around him slipping my hand in his.

"I see you, Katsuki." I whisper before laying my head on his back.

"Goodnight , Marie."

The sound of the thunder woke me out my sleep. I try and turn over, but I can't. I look over my shoulder, seeing Ceioni pressed against me, trembling. She felt me moving and lifted her head up, her hair falling in her face.

God, she was so beautiful.

"You okay?" I ask her, watching her nod slowly.

"Are you afraid of storms, too?" I ask her again as we both sit up. She pushes her hair out her face.

"I wouldn't say 'afraid'." She says avoiding my eyes. "I just don't like thunder."

I couldn't help but smile at her, she was so damn cute when she wanted to be.

Hell, even if she weren't trying to she was still cute as hell.

She scoots back, just enough for me to finally turn over.

"Are you alright?" I ask her, watching her eyes shift from me to the space between the both of us. She nods slowly, before turning over onto her back. I sit up, wiping the crust from my eyes before I finally crawled out of bed.
