Before you read, just gonna say a few things pertaining to the story:

I do not own Characters except for Ceioni.

This is a quirkless AU, no quirks are harmed in the making of this fanfic.

There is strong language, some may not be suitable for those under the age of preferably 18, but I'm gonna be nice and say 17.

There are suggestive jokes and dark humor, if any of that make you feel uncomfortable, do not say you haven't been warned.

I will not be indicating which POV is which, but trust me, you will be able to decipher the two.

"Hey– Are you crazy?!" He screamed frantically, something I wasn't familiar with when it came to him. His voice trembling, cracking even. He was so desperate; for what exactly? Me? But, why?

I giggle at his paranoia. He can be such an idiot–always trying to protect me from danger like I'm his child or something.

"Ceioni!" He yells up at me from below as I twirl on a tree branch, both my arms extended at my sides. We always snuck out and met by this big tree in our local park on weekends, just to hang out. I'd always climb the tree with him and we'd sit and talk, but now I was walking the length of the branch we'd usually sit on, enjoying how the night air felt against my face.

"I'm fine you dweeb!" I tell him with a grin as I glance down at him. His eyebrows stitching together in annoyance, his red eyes following my every move, his lips turned down into a scowl with his hands clentched at his sides. "I'm not gonna fa–"

Oh, now I'm falling.

That asshole jinxed me.

I could hear him cursing under his breath on my way down. I shut my eyes, waiting for my inevitable death.

Goodbye cruel world.

I gasp, feeling arms around me ever so tightly, the smell of teakwood clogging my nose from my face being pressed into his neck. I pull back as my eyes flutter open, seeing Katsuki's eyes as he scowls down at me in a way I truly couldn't fathom. That always stoic gaze I became so used to, so comfortable with, was finally showing some sort of emotion.

"K-Kat-suki." I spoke quietly, feeling my pulse quicken.

"You're always so damned clumsy, stupid!" He growls as he stares at me. "Jesus, stop fucking around and thinking nothing is going to happen to you!"

I let out a shaky breath as I look at him. He sat as if he slid into home base in a baseball game, with me in his arms as if he were a groom carrying his bride over the threshold of their home. He unwraps his arms from around me, allowing me to get off of him. A pink tint on his tan face ad ears as he turns away from me. I move to stand, moving my loose strands of hair my face as he moves to stand as well. He dusts himself off, adjusting his clothes at the same time. I reach out to him, taking the fabric of his shirt in my hands. His body slowly pushes towards me, almost instinctively. He hovers over me, his chin turned down as he looks at me, snaking my arms around his torso as our gap closes, my chin resting on his chest as I look up at him, his breath warming my face with each exhale. His eyebrows furrowing together as he continue to look down on me.

"Let go of me, idiot." He grunts, his sharp canines piercing into his bottom lip with question. I smile at him, watching him squirm became a guilty pleasure of mine. He kissed his teeth before scoffing as he turned his head up and away from me his eyes looking elsewhere as I close my eyes, widening my grin and allowing myself to giggle. I felt a thump on my forehead, making me frown as I opened my eyes, seeing that trademark grin of his.

"I can't stay mad at you." He chuckles. Again, I smile. We stare at one another, the time seeming to slow down around us with every passing second. My heart skipping a few beats, feeling his breathing match my own. My arms still secured around his torso, despite his hands in the comforts of his pants pockets.

"Katsuki." I couldn't finish my sentence, my lip trembling, my stomach fluttering as he looks away, as he looks away, chuckling almost bitterly and slowly stepping away, his eyes closing and my arms falling from him and swinging to my sides.

"It's fucking annoying how you have me so stupid for you." He says turning his back to me. The wind being the only thing that seperated us. His blonde hair doing cartwheels in the wind. I'm not sure what exactly it was he was looking at, but it was helping his train of thought. "When Deku introduced us–when Eijiro forced me to be nice to you, I had no intentions of any of this at all. A–And now look at us." He sighed roughly, kicking one of his feet out. "So fucking stupid..."

I take a step forward, closing the gap between the both of us, grabbing his face in my hand and forcing him to look at me. Even if he didn't directly say it, I knew exactly what he meant–because I knew him. I knew him better than Izuku.

I knew him better than Eijiro.

I knew him better than anyone.

He frowns as he looks down at me, his red eyes scanning over my face expectantly, waiting for me to say something.

"Katsuki, I know." I say softly. "A–And I feel the exact same way."

I watch his eyes widen only slightly from the shock of my words, I could almost hear him choke on his own intake of air. I stepped closer, pressing my body against his arm that my other hand held the sleeve of, while the other continued to hold his jaw. I stood on my toes, my hand on his shirt sleeve extending to the bicep of his arm, helping me keep my balance as I became eye level with him. I brought his face to mine, surprised that he didn't protest, before pressing my lips against his. He froze momentarily, as I went to pull away, his hands found their way to my hips, gripping them tightly as he turned his body to me, pressing me closer to his chest, deepening the kiss. I could feel his passion.

His desperation.

His wanting.

I fell so hard for Katsuki Bakugo, a hot-headed jerk and I never saw it coming.

Katsuki, I love you..

Ceioni, how I feel about you is annoying, but I swear to god I wouldn't trade it for anything in this world. Just love me back, that's all I want..
