The revelation

The world around her stood still. Is this happening for real Or is she day dreaming. Bani looked at veer who was scaring a small kitten. The cute small thing was running here and there in fear. Veer laughed seeing it. Bani sighed, he will always be a villain.

"Why are you scaring it? Let it go " Bani said rolling her eyes.

"Haha... It's fun to watch and jabse tum meri zindagi mai  aayi ho tabse main bhut seedha saadha, bechara sa aadmi banke reh raha hoon. Thoda toh maza lene do .i promise I won't hurt it"  Veer said. Bani went towards the kitten and took it in arms. She walked away with it so that veer wouldn't scare it.

"Stay there. I will be back" Bani said as veer was following her. Bani went a little away and left the kitten there.

She went back to veer who was leaning on the bonnet of the car. Bani joined him.

"I didn't know you would be this brave sweetheart... I mean... I thought you would shout and scream. But you are so cool with it. Amazing gharwali . You never fails to amaze me " Veer said , gazing the road .

"I knew you are not a human . Come on, there won't be a human without emotions " Bani muttered the last past in a low voice. She didn't want veer to hear it. It was for herself to hear.

"Bani.... I... I need to ask you something... Don't be angry on me bcz of it. But don't you think every relationship should be built in trust. I have told you everything. Are you sure you are not hiding anything from me?" Veer asked.

Bani closed her eyes. It's getting difficult. She was already having thoughts about telling her truth to him. But what scares her is satyug. What if it repeats..... What if veer betray her.... What if...

"Bani... I hate lies. Telling you now Just in case you don't know " Veer said. "Come let's go back " He was about to move when he felt a tug on his wrist.

Bani was looking at him. Veer let her take her time.

" Thank you veer" Bani said. Veer looked at her confused .

"Kyun... Kya kiya maine aisa? "

"You never asked me how did I end up being an orphan. Don't you want to know? " Bani asked. Veer cupped her face.

"I always wanted to but couldn't bring myself to do that. I was scared about your reaction. I heard from Mira that, you end up crying whenever this topic comes up. "

" It was a plane crash " Bani said. Veer looked at her shocked.

"Wait... What? "

"You saved me Veer.... It was me whom you had saved that day and this, " Bani showed the claw marks near her collarbone. She always hided it using concealers. Veer looked at her shocked.

"It was me... The girl was me. My family died in that crash. I didn't know how I  managed to escape untill now. But now I know... You.... You saved me veer.... You did ... Thank you veeranshu.... For saving my life. Papa ko main yahan padi huyi mili thi. He took me with him. And rest you know "

Veer moved forward and hugged her tightly. The mere thought of losing her was really scaring. Bani, for the first time hugged him back. She could feel wetness on her shoulder as she was wearing an off shoulder blouse.

"What if I were not here.... You... You could have " Veer trailed off and dipped his head in the crook of her neck. Bani caressed his back. Something in her told me to be with him, comfort him rather than getting involved in Jay's stupid and always flop plans .

Veer's hands were caressing her back while bani was caressing his hairs. Veer parted from the hug and moved a little away.

"Why are you so scared? " Bani asked.

"You are talking like you don't know. Damn it I love you... Don't you know that... Why isn't it going inside your pea sized brain. Huh? "

"Calm down... Relax "

"That's my line though"

"Whatever"

They stood there in silence. Bani was having an inner conflict going on between her heart and brain.

"What if I die suddenly." Bani asked. Veer looked at her with a what has gotten into you look.

"Tell na veeranshu... What if I die suddenly. To say next instant... What will you do "

"I will not let you die "

"You are not God. Okay. Tell me a honest answer "

"I will kill myself the moment I see you die. I don't want a life without you. I don't know why you don't understand my love . I don't know how to prove it. My ways seem bad and disgusting to you. When I thought to surprise you with all that date set up you thought I am trying to demean your value. Whenever I say or do something you find a different meaning to it. I don't know how to tell you that you are special to me.... You are the only one who dares to speak against me... You own my heart and soul. You changed me.. My views, my perspective everything... I am trying to be a better man for you... To be enough for you... I know whatever I do, you won't find me  good enough to be your husband "veer said bending his head.

Bani could see the hurt in his eyes. Yes he was hurt, badly hurt by the one he loves the most.

Why can't her life be simple. If not she was the Aadinaagin she would have given him everything he deserves. But now every time she tries to give him a chance, she gets reminded of their past.

She can't put the life of others in danger. Whatever he is , he is an eagle too. Dhoka dena uski fitrat main hain she remembered Jay's words.

The man standing beside is her husband. Legally wedded. A person who goes to any extent to save her. A person who breaks every laws to be with her.

She knew if she chose to comfort him now, there wouldn't be a turning back. She would give him and their relationship a chance. A much deserved one.

Bani pulled his head into her chest mumbling sorry while veer wrapped his hands around her waist.

Sorry for hurting you.. Sorry for disrespecting you... Sorry for making fun of your feelings... Sorry for being an arrogant, rude wife.... I am sorry veer.... I need you to stay... I need you to be with me... I need US.

Bani knew it wouldn't be easy. But she made up her mind to tell him her truth ASAP.

It was in my mind for a long time and those who suggested me to write on this plot. Don't be sad. I will write one more shot on this plot.
