Bani stirred in sleep listening the high pitch not so melodious voice. She knew who it was. She opened her eyes slowly and saw her husband singing, holding her perfume bottle as mic. Bani threw a cushion on him and sat on the bed. Veer dodged the attack and blew a kiss. Bani couldn't help but wonder can this man be serious ever. No..... Of course no.... After going through a lot for the past two days, she thought he would be weak... Wait.... Who is she kidding.... She should better know her husband's skills. He can never be serious.

Bani went to washroom while veer sat on the couch remembering last night incident. A smile crept on his lips.

Flashback...

Vani returned to Singhania mansion and veer made bani lay on the bathtub. She woke up after a while and looked around. At the same time veer came inside with first aid box and started applying antiseptic on her wounds. (Same as in the show).

"Tum bataoge nhi ki ye sab kaise hua.... Mera matlab hain... Tum laapata the... Ek do din se.... Aur jab maine tumhein dekha tab tum kaaafi weak bhi the... Batao "

"Ouch " Veer winced. Bani blew air while veer admired her.

"Ab theek hain?....toh batao ye sab kisne kiya " Bani asked.

"Tch tch tch.... Nope sweetheart... Iske bare main main tumhein bataooonga nhi, ginaaoonga nhi, tum khud pata karogi... Kyunki main kahoon toh bhi tum yaqeen nhi karogi so.... Khud hi pata kar lo " Veer said.

"You know what I don't care.... Mujhe bhi nhi padi hain.... Maine tumse ek simple sa sawaal poocha but you are doing this .... I don't care " Bani said and walked away. Veer held her hand and brought her closer to him.

"Mujhe tumse ek promise chahiye " Veer said.

"Aur tumhein aisa kyun lagta hain ki main tumhaare baat manoongi? " Bani snapped.

"Tum Jay se nhi milogi. " Veer said while bani frowned.

"Kyu.. Kyu na miloon usse... Tum wajah bhi bata do "

"Tum shadishuda ho... Meri biwi ho... Isliye "

"Woh shadi jo main maanti nhi hoon "

"Tumhaare gale main mere naam ka mangalsutra hain aur maang main mere naam ka sindoor... Tum maano ya na maano, ye shadi asli hain ' veer said and left her hand. As he was about to go, bani asked.

" Jay ne kiya tumhaare saath aisa? " Bani asked . She expected him to answer her negatively. Veer nodded his head and went out of the washroom.

For bani, it was something that she didn't want to come across. Never in her worst nightmare, she thought about Jay betraying her. Damn.... Scratch betraying... She thought he can never hurt her.... Wow..... In a snap, her world turned upside down. She looked at the reflection in mirror. The sarvshreshth Aadinaagin, the protector of her clan, failed to protect her self. She couldn't see the truth as she was blinded by the hate she had for veer.

Bani opened the tap and splashed water on her face . She Should wake up from this nightmare..... But sadly it's not a nightmare.... It's the reality... The damn reality. Tears started appearing on her eyes. It started as a drop.......then trail of tears flew down her face.

She wanted to cry, scream shout.. She wanted to confront him but as for now she was tired. The betrayel hit her so hard that she couldn't even stand on her feet. She cried and cried, untill she fell asleep, tired.

Veer was getting impatient by each passing second. He got to know about everything that happened in the house in his absence. Daksh provided him with cctv visuals. He wanted to see bani. But she was not opening the door. He called out her name but of no use. It has been about two hours . Unable to wait anymore veer broke the door and found bani on the floor, her eyes closed. Sleeping?

Veer went closer and caressed her cheek. She was mumbling something. Veer went more closer and heard what she was saying.

"I hate you Jay"

Veer placed her on the bed slowly but it was enough for her to wake up as she was a light sleeper. Bani opened her eyes. Veer could see her puffy red eyes now. He knew she was crying, her face was covered in her tears. Veer wiped the tears . He wanted to hug her, comfort her, tell her that everything is fine, that he will be with her. But seeing her lifeless face he couldn't help but feel sad. He could have lied her that Jay was not the one.

As veer was about to remove his hands from her, she said.

"Please stay... "

Veer knew his wife well. Unless she is in the worst, she would never ask him to stay. She needed him. She was in search of a solace. She wanted to hide from everything atleast for a while. She needed a shoulder to lean on.

Veer sat beside her and took her in his embrace. He said nothing nor did she. They sat in the comfortable silence. Only the sound of bani's sobs were heard. He let her cry for good. He knew she will have to confront Jay. He knew she will be strong enough to face him tomorrow. He patted her back.

After what felt like eons to veer, bani stopped crying and started cursing Jay making veer chuckle.

Bani went to washroom to freshen up as she was still in the bridal dress. Veer waited for her to come .

Bani was laying on her side of bed, still awake. Veer held her hands in his and pressed it. Bani fake smiled and stared at the ceiling.

"Tum itne bhii bure nhi ho Verranshu " Bani said while veer smiled.

Flashback ends.....

Bani came out of the washroom and was drying her hair. Veer was looking at her through mirror. As bani was about to tie her nupital chain veer came to her and stood behind.

"May I? "

"Hmm" Bani gave him the nupital chain and moved her hairs to a side. Veer was surprised and happy. He tied the nupital chain and asked her to give him sindoor box. Bani turned towards him and showed him the sindoor box. Veer took a pinch from it, and filled her hairline. Bani closed her eyes in contentment.

They have a long way to go.... They need to talk about things.... They need to take care of a lot of things.... But they knew, giving this relationship a chance would only make their lives better. Even if it was difficult bani chose to walk with Veer to face every odds.
