Bani opened her eyes slowly. She closed it as the bright light hit her face. She took her time and adjusted with the light. She tried to sit, but failed as her bruised arm came in contact with the quilt. She winced and carefully sat up. She looked around. It was a totally unknown place. Wait.... How did she end up here... She was in that truck... Wait..... There was a blast... Who saved me... And where am I...

Bani got up from the bed and saw her phone on the couch. She took it and saw missed calls from Jay. She called him back immediately.

"Hello... Bani... Tum ho kahan.... Tum theek ho... Batao tum kahan ho.. Mai abhi aata hoon... " Jay said.

"Ssh... Jay... Stop it... I am fine aur main kahan hoon woh mujhe nhi pata... Main tumhein apna location bejti hoon. Theek hain.... Aur... Drive safely" Bani said.

"Haan haan theek hain.... Tum phone kaato mat.... Be in call theek hain? "

''Okay... Tum aaraam se aao.. '

"Bani... Tumein bachaya kisne? " Jay asked.

"Nhi pata Jay... Chalo duniya main aise log bhi hain jo kisi aur ki jaan bachaata hain... Warna us veeranahu singhania jaise logon ke wajah se toh inzaaniyat  hi mit jaati " Bani said angrily.

"Ouch that hurts... Sweetheart" Bani heard a sound. Sweetheart? Only one person has the audacity to call her with that endeavor. Bani turned around with Jay still on call.

"Tum? " Bani asked.

"Bani... Kya hua... Bani... Theek ho?"Jay asked worried.

" Haa Jay... Phone ka battery dead hone wala hain... Main rakthi hoon..... Suno.... Be safe" Bani said and smiled. Veer frowned. She speaks tooooooooo much sweetly to chepu. Not acceptable.

Veer smiled at her while she remained angry.

"I atleast deserve a thank you for saving you from that blast. Huh... You are really ungrateful... " Veer said making faces and sat on the couch.

"Did you save me to hear thank you from me? " Bani asked.

"I saved you bcz I love you " Veer said while bani rolled her eyes.

"Isn't it too early to confess it... Just cut the crap. "

"Ye pyaar hain sweetheart, jitna bhi chupaaoon, aankhon main dikhtha hi hain.... " Bani sighed at his dramatic over cheesy dialogue.

"I hope Jay jaldi aaye... I better go away from here "

"You want to go away from here or from me? " Veer asked. He already knew the answer.

"I should have stayed in call with Jay " Bani said ignoring his question.

"Oh... I suddenly feel sick... I feel like vomiting... Uff..... Is it because you mentioned something or to say someone whom I hate with all my heart? " Veer asked . The evil face. Bani wanted to smack him but she knew there is nothing she can do about him. Bani scoffed and looked away.

"Waise sweetheart you look breathtaking while you are unconscious. " Veer said. Bani threw him a disgusted look and muttered something under her breath. Veer chuckled.

There was complete silence for a few moments. Bani wondered what's wrong. The ever so chirpy veeranshu singhania was silent all of a sudden. Something must have happened.

"Bani " Veer called after a while. Bani turned to face him. For some reason he starting a convo, made her relieved bcz he was behaving out of character for a while.

"Yeah "

"Don't get hurt..... Plzz " Veer said shocking bani. She never thought the man has a heart. She always thought that he was heartless, he doesn't have any kind of feelings for anyone.

"What did you say? " Bani asked. She wanted to ensure what she heard was right only.

Veer got up from the sofa and went towards bani taking, long steps. She didnt feel the need to move back. Something unknown was rooting her there.

Veer stood in front of her. In Just one feet distance. He sighed. Bani looked at him. He surely was handsome. If she had met him somewhere else in a different situation, she may have felt an attraction towards him. But now.....

"I don't hesitate bani. Mujhe jo bolna hain main bol deta hoon. I don't care whether I am right or wrong. I know you hate me and in your place your hate for me is justifiable too. But what you don't know is what your bestie did... She cheated on my friend. She used his money for all her lavish and cheated on him. Is this good? No... Right..... I hate those people who pretends to be good in front of others. I am bad... I know that and I admit it... I don't like double faced people..... I hate lies... I tried to handle the situation in a nicer way but your friend was adamant... So I had no way... I had to break the marriage... You may think that what I did was wrong. But in my view, I am right. I did that to save my friend and I did give Noor a chance to rectify her mistake. But she didn't do... And her death was something I didn't expect. ...............You still don't believe me... Right? " Veer asked. Bani didn't say anything. She was in a dilemma. Her Noor can't do that....... The Noor she knew was not like this.... Was she really cheating on Ahmad. Did she really do it.....

"Bani.... I never gave explanation to anyone yahan tak ki mere baap ko bhi nhi..... You are the first one who made me explain my acts. For me, your approval matters. I know I am a villain and will always remain as one, still villains also have a heart sweetheart and I promise this villain will never hurt you" Veer said. He raised his hands to cup her face but she moved back.

"Don't touch me " Bani managed to say. His intense gaze on her was not helping the situation... She felt like she was falling out of breath. Suddenly they heard the horn of a car. Bani ran out . She needed to go away from him.

Veer's words were playing in her mind. She was laying on the bed beside Meera. Bani turned again.

"Bani... Kya hua... Tujhe neend nhi aa rha kya? " Meera asked.

"Di.... Aaj main sach main marjaati " Bani said.

"Kya... Tum kya bol rhi ho bani.. Ud jaa... Bait.... Aur mujhe saari baatein sunaa... Kya kya hua tha " Meera got up worried. She checked bani's body to see if she was hurt.

"Di... I am fine... " Bani said and told everything that happened. Meera smiled.

"Bani.... Before judging a person you should know him well... Shayad veer bura nhi hain. .. Shayad haalat bura tha... Woh nhi... Ek baar use jaanne ki kosish karo... Kya pata woh sach main acha ho... Bani mujhe nhi pata ki woh kaisa hain... Par main ye zaroor keh sakti hoon ki woh tere liye kuch feel karta hain... Attraction ho ya aur kuch mujhe nhi pata par I think you should give him a chance. Baakki teri marzi... Ab meri pyaari behna so jao aur mujhe bhi sone do " Bani chuckled and hugged meera.

She layed down. She took her phone which was on the side table beside bed.

"Thank you for saving my life veeranshu :) "
