It's been five whole months since Error came to this strange Multiverse. For the past few days, the villagers of Dreamtale were very amazed by Error and told tales of how mighty he was.

They portrayed him as the strongest guardian in the multiverse and spread a rumor that he and the protector of AUs are dating. Little did they know, it was slowly becoming true.

Today, Error was walking in the garden, thinking about a certain someone in his mind. He was lost in thoughts, until Cross saw him staring at nothing. He decided to ask what was up.
"Yo Error, you good? You've been looking at nothing for the past few minutes." Cross asked.
"O-oh! Sorry, I was just... Thinking..." He said.

Cross raised a bone-brow and asked. "Oh? About what?"
"I-Ink... I-I can't seem to get him off my mind..." He said. At that moment, Cross smiled. "My dude, you've got feelings for him." He said smugly. Error's face lit up in yellow blush. "What?!?"
"Yep, Not gonna lie, I was like that before I dated Dream, now look at me now." He said proudly.

"So what do I do?" Error asked. "Well, you've gotta confess your feelings for him, Error. And the right way to do it is by asking him on a date!" He said excitedly. "O-okay. B-but where do I take him?" Error asked. "Hmm... You can take him on a romantic cliff-side hang out, or a romantic dinner for two?" He suggested.

"Hmm..."

Later that afternoon, Ink was just casually drawing on his sketch pad, when he suddenly realized that he was drawing Error. He immediately blushed and hid his face into his scarf. Seconds later after he calmed down, he came out of his scarf and was literally shocked to see Error, standing in front of him while looking at his flipping sketchpad.

He blushed violently and he threw his sketchpad through a portal to the Doodlesphere then acted like nothing happened. "H-Hey Error! What's up?" He said while stuttering. "O-oh, hey Ink! I-I was just w-wondering..."

"Yeah?"

"Y-you know, w-we've been friends for a while now and..."

"Yeah??"

"I-I was just wondering i-if-"

"YEAH???"

"Would you go on a date with me??" Error finished asking, his whole face was covered in yellow blush.
Ink was a rainbow at this point.

"YES!" Ink exclaimed.

"G-great! I'll see you tonight!" Error said and immediately teleported away to his room. He flopped onto his bed and screamed into his pillow in embarrassment.
Nightmare happened to be walking by his room when he heard that muffled scream.

"Yo, Error are you okay?" He asked with a slightly concerned. "N-no! I just asked Ink to a date and I don't know what to do!"
Nightmare gave a sh*t-eating smug smile to Error and teased him. "Damn Error, never knew you had the guts to finally tell him." He said while leaning on the doorframe.

"Shut up and tell me what to do!" Error said, a bit annoyed. Nightmare laughed and said. "Just be a gentleman to him Error, please him and show him what good you are. He'll love you, trust me." Nightmare replied.
"Okay, f-fine..."

"Good luck on the date, Error!" Nightmare then went off, leaving Error on his own in his room.

Later that night...

Error was currently waiting outside of Ink's room, he was wearing his best clothes and had a bouquet of rainbow flowers in his hands that Dream helped pick for him. He was now getting nervous by the second, but decided to man up and finally knock on the door.

"Just a minute!" He heard Ink from the other side. So he stood still and waited.
A minute passed, Ink finally opened the door. Error immediately flushed a bit after seeing what Ink was wearing. It was a beautiful rainbow colored night gown.

"Wow, y-you look amazing." Error said embarrassedly. "Thanks!" Ink stepped out of his room and said. "Shall we go?"
"Yes." Error then gestured to a glitchy portal, Ink giggled and went inside first then Error.

They were in a secret place in Outertale. The place was on a space rock, it had a single willow tree, a patch of grass and an assortment of growing flowers on it.
But what surprised him the most was that there was a table for two, and standing there was Lust as the waiter.

They both went to the table and Error pulled the chair for Ink to sit on. Ink giggled and took a seat. Error did the same.
Lust then brought their food and left them alone. Nightmare was hiding in a bush and starts playing the violin, both were surprised because Error didn't actually arrange that to happen, but it was working.

The night went on normally, they talked and eat as they gazed on the galaxy above them.
They enjoyed their pleasant evening with each other and wanted to make their night even worth it.

"So, is this your first date?" Error asked. "Believe it or not, yes it is. Nobody's asked me out on a date before." Ink answered. "How about you? Is this your first date as well?"

"Yeah, I've never been to a date before and this is all new to me." Error replied. "So it's like, our first time, huh?" Ink said. "Guess so."

Ink placed his hand on the table and Error overlapped it with his own. Both looked away from each other with embarrassment, trying to cover their bright blush on their faces.

"So, do you want some dessert?" Error asked. "Yeah, that sounds nice." Ink replied. Error the signaled his hand to the bushes and Cross came out, handing them a fresh chocolate ice cream dessert with edible gold toppings. Cross then disappeared into the bushes while giving a thumbs up for good luck.

"I'm surprised, you planned all this in a few hours?" Ink asked. "Yeah, with a little help of course. Couldn't have done it without them." Error replied while glancing at the bushes to see if his friends are there.

"Cool, now open up Ruru!" Ink said as he holds up a spoonful of ice cream towards Error's face. Error blushed and accepted it, he then did the same to Ink and began feeding him as well.

After a while, Error asked a question he's been meaning to ask for a long time now. "I've been meaning to ask, how did your multiverse become so peaceful? Every other multiverse I've read revolves around war, but yours is complete peace with each other. So, how?" He asked.
Ink just stared for a second before looking down to contemplate for a bit. Error raised his non-existent bone brow and said. "Did I say something wrong? Y-you don't have to answer-" "No, it's okay. I think it's time for you to know the truth." Ink said and smiled softly as he began telling their story.
