Inescapable

Error was destroying yet another AU, it felt really good to be finally free from Fate's chains and he gets to do whatever he wants now.
Right now, he was getting ready to finish the AU, until he heard someone scream his name with hate. "ERROR! STOP DESTROYING THIS AU!" it was... Ink?
Error's hopes were crushed when Ink gazed at him with pure hate and anger in his eyes.

This isn't right, this isn't the same Ink that he met that day. The one looking at him was going to attack him. Error dodged the attack and began using his strings in defense.
Where was the Ink that saved him from death? Where was the Ink who was kind and lovable to all? Where was the Ink that helped him?
His thoughts were cut off when Ink smacked him in the face with his brush.

He was met with darkness and heard a voice coming from distant. It was calling his name, telling him to come back. He walked towards the voice and he woke up.

He gasped and his head was dripping cold sweat from the nightmare that he had. He felt someone rubbing his back and heard comforting words from someone. He looked up to see Dream and Nightmare in their passive forms, looking worriedly at him. "E-Error! Are you alright?" Dream asked concernly. "We sensed your negative emotions were strong, so we came to check on you to see if you're alright." He continued. "Are you alright?" Dream finished.

"I-I... I don't know..." Error said while hugging himself. Nightmare looked down on him and gave him a small hug. "We saw the nightmare you were having." Nightmare said. "But we can assure you that Ink isn't like that. He's not cruel and we know he doesn't have anything against destroying an AU." He continued as he pulled back from the hug.
"Don't worry, Error. Ink wouldn't hurt someone like you. He saved you, remember?" Dream said while smiling. Error nodded. "Plus, I think he likes y-" Dream was about to finish his sentence when Ink came into the room, holding a tray of breakfast for Error. The tray had a pancake stack, a warm glass of milk, and a small sachet of chocolate syrup for the pancakes.

That's when it got awkward, Ink expected Error to be alone in the room when he bursted in. "I-is this a bad time?" Ink said awkwardly backing away from the room. "N-no! We were just about to leave, come on Nights!" Dream pulled Nightmare out of the room, leaving an awkward silence between Ink and Error.
"I brought you breakfast!" Ink said as he placed the tray on Error's bed. "T-thanks, but you didn't have to-" "Oh sure I did! Don't worry about it Error, I'm just trying to make you feel welcomed since you're new here." Ink said happily. "Well, I'm off to go see someone today. Bye bye Ruru!" Ink said before teleporting away.

Error processed something for a second 'Ruru'? Was that a nickname for him or something? He didn't realize he was blushing lightly at the name he was given. He proceeded to eat his breakfast and hoped to clear his mind off him.
"Uncle Glitch!" A curious child came into his room and went beside him, it was Palette. "Heya kid. What's up?" Error asked while picking him up and setting him down beside him. "Can we play in the garden?" The little child asked with stars in his eyes, how could you say no to that?
Error chuckled and gave him a pat on the head. "Sure kid, just let me eat my breakfast first." Error said as he poured some chocolate on the pancake.

Palette began to drool inside his mouth, he wanted to eat too. Error seems to notice, so he sliced a piece of pancake and began feeding Palette. The kid was happy and hugged Error like he was his father. "Thanks Uncle Glitch! I love Choco pancakes!" The kid said happily.
Error smiled and shared his breakfast with the child, almost as if he was his own son.

Ink was in the Doodlesphere, waiting for someone to arrive. He needed to speak with him to get some answers. Just then, a white oval shaped portal opened in front of him so Ink prepared himself.
A man stepped out from the portal, he was wearing his signature formal black clothing and carrying the same book and black fountain pen. "What do you need, Ink?" The man asked him. "Where did Error come from? I know for a fact that he's not from our Multiverse. So where?" Ink asked him.

"Ink, This Error came from a multiverse where he was tortured for eons by a selfish deity and a merciless creator who only wants to create. I brought him here to start a new life, away from all the bad things that happened to him in the past." He explained to Ink.
He then opened his book and showed Ink all of Error's memories. Ink carefully watched all of them and processed the information he needed to know more about Error. As soon as he finished, Ink finally understood and was determined to help him.

"Thanks, E." Ink thanked him. "No problem, Ink. I also brought him here because you were pretty lonely~" E teased him. Ink blushed and pouted at his response. "Aww~ you know you like him~" "S-SHUT UP!" Ink hid in his scarf as E went back to his portal, laughing.

Ink then sat down in the Doodlesphere and reflected on something. He then went back to the castle to see what Error was doing now.
