The Gang (Pt. 1)

The three and Error came to the copy of Chesstale. The place was half destroyed by the gang. Error was mildly impressed, usually when the gang destroys an AU they can do it in less than an hour with him around.

Error looked around the place, debris was falling from the broken judgement hall, but he didn't mind them. He was focused on a monochrome skeleton playing chess with a goopy octopus. The goopy skeleton seems to be winning the game while the monochrome skeleton was getting tensed and frustrated because he was loosing.

"Checkmate!" The goopy skeleton finished the game. "As usual, I am still the king of this game." The goopy skeleton boasted. "Yeah right! I see Dream beat you every time you two play! Clearly, Dreamy is better at chess than you!" The monochrome skeleton pointed out at him. The goopy skeleton gasped dramatically. "You take that back you walking X!" "Make me, you f**king octopus!" He argued back.

Dream cleared his throat to get their attention. The two faced Dream and one of them was sweating nervously because they swore. "Cross, what did I say about swearing??" Dream raised a bone brow while giving a glare. "Not to say them?" Cross replied, feeling nervous. "That's right, now you know what that means. No chocolate for a week!" Dream punished him. "NOOOO! Why Dreamhearts!?" Cross cried out.

"Come on Crossy, you gotta learn how to control that dirty mouth of yours." He stated while raising a finger at him. Cross sighed and nodded. "Alright, love. As long as it makes you happy." Cross said while smiling.

'Love?' Error raised a bone brow and thought for a second. He also noticed that Cross has both white eyelights and doesn't have a red scar under his eye. Cross also has two white daggers with him instead of his usual knife.
"Heya Bro. Took ya long enough to get here." The goopy skeleton said. "S-sorry Nightmare. We had a little issue on the way." Dream pointed at Error, who seems to be lost in his thoughts. Nightmare went near Error and snapped his fingers in front of him. "Hello, Multiverse to Glitchy dude. Are you there?" Nightmare waved a hand in front ofhis eyes and Error snapped back to reality.

"O-oh Hi. I'm Error." Error hesistated. Nightmare observed him for a second, squinting his eyes as he observed him. He then turned his look to Ink and back at Error. "Well I'm Nightmare, the Guardian of Negative Emotions and the older twin brother of Dream." Nightmare introduced himself.

"What brings you here?" He asked. "We saw him on the ledge of Outertale, the one where it leads to the void." Dream explained. "Huh? You weren't planning on suicide, were you?" Nightmare asked again with concern in his voice. Once again, Error went silent. He didn't know what to say to them.
Nightmare placed a hand on Error's shoulder which made him glitch a bit, but he didn't reboot. "It's okay. You don't have to say anything." Nightmare said with a comforting smile and Error smiled a little and thanked him.

"Nice to meet ya, Error. My name's Cross and Dream's my fiancé." Cross held out a hand, waiting for Error to take it. Error stared at it for a while and said. "I have Haphephobia." "Oh! Sorry!" Cross pulled back his hand and went to hug Dream from behind. Ink sighed softly as he saw the two couple cuddle each other. Soon enough, Cross and Dream were kissing until Nightmare interrupted them. "If you're going to do that then get some privacy, would ya?!" He snapped, clearly frustrated from seeing
the couples getting lovey-dovey with each other.

Both of them pulled away from embarrassment and nodded at Nightmare. "Now come on, we've got a universe to finish." Nightmare signaled Cross to come. Cross gave Dream a goodbye kiss before going off with Nightmare to finish the AU.
"Can I help?" Error suggested. Everyone looked at him confusedly for a second, but Nightmare nodded. "Sure, if you can keep up with destroying then it'll make our job easier." He said. "Please, I can destroy everything here in a few minutes!" Error said confidently. "Is that a challenge?" Nightmare asked. "Maybe for you, but not for me." Error boasted. "Oh it is on!" Nightmare said as he dashed away to kill more civilians.

Error smirked and pulled out blue strings from his eyes. He shot them everywhere, causing everyone to look at him with astonishment. Then, Error gave a heavy tug on the strings, causing everything to collapse and shatter. The AU was destroyed in mere seconds, making Error the winner.

Error dusted his clothes and gave himself a pat on the back for a job well done. He smiled proudly at the destruction he made. This was the first time he ever felt happy about destroying an AU, he didn't know why though.

The others, as well as the rest of the gang, were dumbfounded by Error's powers. They didn't know what to say and just stared there with shock in their eyes.
Error wondered why they were shocked. Destroying the AU was supposed to be the main objective, so why were they staring at him like he did something unbelievable. "What?" Error asked them.
