"Oh! Jotaro! Who are those two?" A bright, cheery, female voice called. "Why is one of them covered in blood? Did you get in a fight again?"
"That one doesn't concern you," Jotaro replied, referring to Kakyoin, "but this girl has been throwing up, and I know you can fix that." He set you down in front of his mother, and then continued walking away to another room.
"My, my, you do look pale," Ms. Kujo said. "Don't worry, I'll have you fixed up in no time! Just wait here while I get my medicines."
"Yes, ma'am."
After some time, Ms. Kujo came back with some syrup and pills. "Which one would you rather have? Personally, I'd choose the pill, but if you're not good at just swallowing it, then you should choose the syrup." Somehow, she saw the distrust on your face, and said, "Oh, don't worry. I know you're probably remembering what your parents said, but you can trust me, I promise."
Hesitantly, you chose the pill and swallowed it.
"Now, get some rest. The medicine won't start working until about 15 minutes after you've taken it, but after that, you'll feel a lot better."
"Thank you, Ms. Kujo," you replied.
"Please, call me Seiko," she said.
"Hey, Holly!" a burly voice called. "Holly! The boy Jotaro carried in needs some bandages on his head!"
"Coming, Papa!" Seiko called. "Oh! You're probably confused now. My real name is Holly, but everyone in Japan calls me Seiko. I'll come and check on you soon. Rest up!"
Oh, but you were way too curious to even close your eyes for a second. You had to know. Who was this Dio? why did Kakyoin need interrogation? Why was Seiko's father here, and who was he? Why did he need bandages for their enemy? You had to get answers. You wandered around the house for a while until you heard muted talking, then followed the sound.
Once you found the room where the talking was coming from, you walked in to see two men you didn't know, Kakyoin, Jotaro, and Seiko.
"What are you doing? I told you to get some rest."
"I'm sorry, Seiko, but I just have so many questions, I had to come in here to answer them!"
"Let her ask, Mom," Jotaro said. "She does need to know."
After asking all of your questions, you figured it out: the two men, one of which was Seiko's father, were named Joseph Joestar and Mohammed Avdol; Dio is an immortal vampire who stole Joseph's grandfather's, Jonathan Joestar's, body (which is a whole different package you were not about to open); Kakyoin needed interrogation because he was Dio's minion; Joseph was here to tell Jotaro about Dio; and Kakyoin was bandaged because he was being controlled by Dio with a flesh bud (again, you weren't going to open that package).
"Now, we won't force you to come with us," Joseph said, "but I've heard from Jotaro that your Stand is very strong, and we could use that. But it's going to be dangerous. Very dangerous. There's a chance you could die. We'll leave it up to you. Remember, the only reason we're offering this trip is because your Stand is strong enough to protect you."
"Of course I'll join," you replied. "I've always wanted to stop the evil happening in this world. The only problem is, I've never been able to. But this is a Stand matter. I may die, but if I don't join you, I'll never forgive myself. If I can help change this world for the better, or at least prevent it from changing for the worse, then I'm not letting that opportunity go to waste!"
Joseph nodded. "Well, in that case, welcome aboard!"
Since you were supposed to leave in the morning, Seiko let you stay for the night. That night, you had a dream, a dream that you didn't remember, but left you with a strong feeling of joy. You always loved those dreams that let you wake up with a smile, but you wished you had remembered it. Still, better than those dreams that you woke up with guilt.
"Ugh! I hate Japanese coffee!" Joseph yelled. You heard his voice from the other side of the house.
"Good morning, (Y/N)," Kakyoin said while walking by.
"G-good morning, Kakyoin." Your voice was cracking more than you wanted it to. Why did he leave you with such a nervous feeling? He wasn't gonna beat you up or anything. Well, you couldn't focus on that for long, you needed to get dressed for the long journey ahead. Maybe brush your teeth, too. And definitely brush your hair.
After you were completely ready, you went to go find the others. "Hello?" you cried. "Mr. Joestar? Jotaro? Where are you?"
"In here." Jotaro's voice called. Good. It wasn't too far away. You ran in there, and walked in to find a passed out Seiko, and a very worried Joseph and Jotaro.
"Dio laid a curse on my little Holly," Joseph said, holding back tears. "If we don't defeat him within 50 days, she'll die."
"I've found the bug in the photo!" Avdol rushed into the room with an encyclopedia, and Kakyoin quickly coming in after. "It's a species that only lives in Egypt, so he must be there."
"Well, we're wasting time by staying here." Joseph's voice lost it's trembling touch, and his eyes had an intense look in them. "Let's go to Egypt."
And with that, the five of you left. Jotaro, and his Star Platinum; Kakyoin, and his Hierophant Green; Joseph, and his Hermit Purple; Avdol, and his Magician's Red; and (Y/N), and her Ace of Pentacles.
With a team like yours, there was no way you could lose.
