Ace of Pentacles jerked up from her user's mind, in a strange place. Brilliant lights were everywhere, and multiple people were crowded around (Y/N)'s unconscious body, including Jotaro. Wait, weren't you supposed to be dead? Then how was she summoned?

"Good, it worked," Jotaro was talking in a tone Ace had never heard before. A tone of urgency and worry. "Ace of Pentacles, your user is on the brink of death. We're all lucky she went unconscious with you summoned, because we were able to activate you and give you a little energy boost without waking her up, which would've been fatal."

Why was Jotaro telling her all of this?

"Listen, you need to heal her," Jotaro begged. "Duplicate her cells and close the openings in her chest and cracks in her skull that are going to kill her if you don't do something fast."

Ace of Pentacles had never seen this boy so worked up before, so it had to be important. Of course, one look at (Y/N) and it was clear why he was being so urgent. Ace nodded, and got to work.

Ah, jeez, how did (Y/N) do this again? Anatomy books, I think. Come on, Ace, you're a part of her! Rack your memories. You have to find something. Anything! Yes! That's it! Stitches! Sewing together the skin to stop the bleeding.

Ace squeezed together the deepest wound on (Y/N)'s chest, and duplicated the skin until the two sides were touching. Oh, and for good measure, she welded the blood veins and muscle tissues together, as well. The rest of the open wounds were fairly small, aside from a few bruises, but it was best if those healed on their own, since Ace couldn't see the wounds. Anything she couldn't see could be fatal if it was healed the wrong way.

"Okay, now we need you to mend her skull," Jotaro said. "It's cracked, but none of the pieces got in her brain, so it's safe for you to just fill in the cracks."

Wait, wasn't that what I was just avoiding?! At least there's an X-ray for this. Still, this is a huge step from visible wounds. I... I don't think I can do this.

I have to, though. (Y/N)'ll die if I don't. I'll die if I don't. I have to try.

Using the X-ray, Ace of Pentacles started carefully forming the broken pieces of the skull together, little by little. Her hands shook like crazy, so it was good that no hands were necessary for this. The SPW worker in the back of the ambulance turned (Y/N) over, revealing even more cracks on that side. Ace was getting the hang of this, though. Her hands were shacking less and less, and she was going quicker than before. The second side got done sooner than the first, and (Y/N) was fully healed.

"Thank you," Jotaro let out a breath that he hadn't even realized he'd been holding in. "Now, we can't let you roam free for too long. It'll cause brain damage, or something."

Nodding, Ace of Pentacles returned back to (Y/N)'s mind, her shoulders feeling like an elephant had been taken off her back.

She'd done it. (Y/N) would survive, because of her.

Your eyes slowly cracked open, and a bright light blinded you for a minute. Was... was this it? Was this heaven? It must've been. But it didn't feel any different. You started rising up from a bed, but quickly laid back down when you noticed that your head was throbbing in pain.

"The doctors said it would be a couple of hours until your head felt better."

That voice. You slowly turned your body towards it, and saw that familiar red hair and lavender eyes. Right behind him, the one who got you caught up in all this mess, with his tattered hat and open uniform.

"I'm... not dead?" you croaked.

"All thanks to that Stand of yours," Jotaro replied. "We found a way to awaken it without waking you up."

"Ace of Pentacles?" you asked. You summoned your Stand and looked her in the eyes. "You saved me?"

If Stands could blush, Ace would've been full-on red. She scratched the back of her head and nodded, and you hugged her tightly.

"Thank you," you sobbed. "Thank you."

When you were done hugging Ace, you turned to Jotaro, who rolled his eyes and opened his arms, a small smile forming from his lips. Gratefully, you hugged him, too. Not too tight, because he wouldn't appreciate that, but enough for him to know how much it meant to you that he saw a chance to save you and took it.

Once that was done, you turned to Kakyoin, who's eyes were red with tears already. You jumped into his arms, and started crying again.

"I thought you were gone forever," he sniffled. "The Speedwagon Foundation workers rushed past me, and I saw you in one of the beds. Jotaro had to come and find me to tell me you were fine."

"I thought I wouldn't save you in time," you said. "I was afraid that I hadn't gotten to your body before your soul passed away, and - ow! My head!"

"Sorry," Kakyoin set you down. "I must've squeezed you too hard."

"It's okay," you laughed.

"So, how's she doing?" Joseph came into the room.

"Mr. Joestar?" you exclaimed. "But... but I saw you die! How did you...?"

"It's a long story," Joseph said. "I'll tell you later. But how are you feeling?"

"Aside from the throbbing pain in my head, I'm feeling fine," you replied.

"That's good to hear," Joseph patted you on the head. "We've been through a lot these past fifty days, and I would hate to keep you here any longer. After all, you all have families to go to."

"(Y/N)!" Polnareff ran into the room, and scooped you up in a hug. "We were all so worried about you!"

"Ow," you squeaked. "Polnareff, my head. You're hurting my head."

"Oh!" He almost dropped you back on the bed. "So sorry!"

"It's okay," you reassured him. "It was an accident. I'm happy to see you, too."

"Now, since we have all of the crying and stuff out of the way," Joseph said, "how about one last bite to eat together, before we all go our separate ways?"

"That sounds great!" you cheered.

"I second that," Jotaro answered.

"That would be nice," Kakyoin grinned.

"I would like to see you all one last time," Polnareff sighed.

"Then it's settled!" Joseph announced. "Let's go get some food as a group before we split up."

Everyone cheered as you left the hospital and hailed a taxi.

"We did it," you said to Kakyoin.

"We did it," he said back.

And it was true. You all did it. Dio was no more. It may have been at the expense of some friends along the way that you would sorely miss for the rest of your days, but Dio was finally defeated, once and for all.
