The Mountain -Chapter 9

TANJIRO POV:

Uughhhhhhh...

Inosuke followed me, as I saw the slayer, tangled up in the strings. I quickly did  the trick of looping them up the tree, since I wanted to kill lowermoon 5 as soon as possible.

"HEY! I WANNA DO THAT TOO!"

"... Hahha..." I just giggled, as I head off to kill the mother spider.

I went over to find the mother spider panicking. I remember this clearly, as she surrendered, while I cut her head off. I also noticed she started to cry, and whispered something. I just smiled back to her.

Then I headed up to find Rui. I want to kill him as fast as possible and then..

TIMESKIP

Uhhhhh

I didn't remember lowermoon 5 being so weak...

...

Oh, maybe it's because I am so much more stronger :) !

But as Rui's body fell down to the ground, I simply put my hand on his body. The smell coming off him was with great sadness... Demon are truly just tragic humans that went to the wrong pathway.

I teared up, as I looked over at Nezuko. I sighed with relief, thanking the gods that Nezuko wasn't as badly injured, but she did unlock her demon blood art.

But now what?

I just sat there, as I played with Nezuko's hair.

Then I saw a familiar half and half haori.

"Ah! Hi there, Tomioka-san!"

"... I see, so you defeated lowermoon 5. Good job on that..." Giyuu just spoke like he didn't want to be there.

I looked up.

"Watch out..." I stood up, and walked away from the pervious place I was sitting.

Giyuu just looked up, then stepped aside.

Shinobu came flying in, then tried to attack Giyuu but then Giyuu just blocked it with his katana.

"Oh my! Why exactly are you protecting a demon?... That's why, nobody likes you..."

"Hey! That's not nice! Tomioka-san has friends!" I called out.

"... Ah, you... The boy who is travelling with the demon... It's against the corps rules to protect a demon, so why are you protecting one? Tell me you story..."

"... Well, Nezuko is a good demon! She never ever ate a human, plus I have been trying to find out a way to turn her back to human!"

"Ah, I see. What a sad story... then I will just kill her swiftly and quickly, painless. After that, then I will kill you swiftly and quickly, just for good measure, ay?"

"Ah..."

"Hurry up and run away..." Giyuu blocked Shinobu's attacks.

"Ah! Yes!" I took Nezuko, and tried to do the same thing with the thunder breathing, that Zenitsu taught me.

"Ah... Fast..." Shinobu whispered.

KOCHO SHINOBU POV:

ARA. ARA. Shessh. Now I am in a headlock with Mr. I'm-depressed-brat.

"OyA! Just what are you getting out of this? Why are you protecting a demon?"

I wanted to kill that demon already. I wanted to give it a painful death but oh my! I already made a promise not to kill her painfully!

"Hn! This is why no one likes you!"

"... I'm not disliked by people..."

"But why protect that demon?"

"... If I was right, this happened 2 years ago-"

"Oh zip it... There isn't any excuse to protect a filthy demon. PHuhhuhu..." A hidden knife from my foot came out as I intended to stab Depressed guy in the face but then I stopped and controlled myself:

"CAW CAW! BRING A DEMON CALLED KAMADO NEZUKO AND  BOY CLLED KAMDO TANJIRO BACK TO HQ! CAW CAW! THE BOY IS WEARING A CHECKERED HAORI AND THE DEMON IS WEARING A PINK KIMONO!"

Sh*t, lost my moment to make a big scar across Mr. Depressed-guy's face.

"Oh! Whep!" The knife sheathed back into my shoe, as I walked back to HQ.

It doesn't matter if we do anything for the demon. It doesn't matter if the demon hasn't ate any humans. At the end of the day, the demon will lose control of itself, even if it regains control, what about next time? It just doesn't matter... Demons are cruel, it's not fair, if that demon was able to control herself, then why couldn't other demons control themselves? There isn't any good demons out there...

I just smiled. 

Smile, for my sister. 

I hated it. Why did she just pity demons? Whatever, I just I'm the only one to carry her dream, even though I hate demons...

TANJIRO POV:

GAH! All I have to do is stall time for the crow to send the message.

Then I looked up and behind me.

I saw Kanao, drifting down as she raised her katana. Then she stopped. She narrowed her eyes, then widened them. I paused.

Then she threw her katana right where my eye was supposed to be, I dodged the attack. She grabbed her katana, then tried to knock me over while slashing at Nezuko. I blocked it with my katana.

"NEZUKO! GO!" Nezuko proceeded to run away while nodding. Nezuko ran away, Kanao took out her coin. But then she put it away. I gaped, since she just made a decision by herself.

Kanao didn't smile, as she furrowed her eyebrows. 

I knocked her over, in the armpit. Her arm couldn't move since the blow to the armpit was too hard plus the armpit is there for you to move your arm.

She quickly took the katana into the other hand as she forced her arm to move bit by bit. A sound could be heard then a snap. Kanao was able to move her arm again.

'KAAHH! Kanao truly was a monster, even though we are back in time...'

Then she tried to stab me over and over, as I just blocked her technique over and over.

A I looked up, I saw a crow heading our way. I sheathed my katana and walked over to find Nezuko. Kanao just stood there confused, as she went in for another attack the crow made the message.

Kanao just heard the message as she smiled. Then she walked away.

'Woah.. She is as cool as I remember...'

I ran over to Nezuko. She had a listless face while having a dotted eyed one as well.

"Hmm? Is there something wrong? I can smell that you are angry..."

Nezuko started to huff and puff under her muzzle.

"Huh? Do you not like Kanao?"

Nezuko seemed to be okay with Kanao, since she was a human, but what more angry about something else.

"Hnmph!"

"Ah! Huh? Whatever, let's just go to the HQ!" I looked over and saw the kakushi member so I just went along with them.

They put Nezuko into the box and then tied me up.

"Oh?" Then I was walked across the mount and down to the HQ.
