TANJIRO POV
TIMESKIP BY TWO YEARS.
I prayed to Sabito and Makomo. Then I practiced the 13th form for training.
Then it was over, the two long years. I made sure that my skills were sharp as before and Urokodaki gave me the kistune mask and clothes.
Then he sent me off to go the Final Selection. He has been too stiff around me but at least he trusts me.
I went to the Final Selection. The twins explains that rules and we are sent off.
It's pretty easy, I killed the hand guy thing after praying to it.
I tried to save as much people as possible but they all ran away from me after me defeating the demons. Strange...
Then the final selection was over. Just that quick for some reason.
Then I headed down to for the ending of the final selection.
I got to the wisteria part of the final selection. There, was Genya, Kanao, Zensitu in the end.
"Hey there Genya-"
Genya looked at me weirdly, and I regretted yelling out his name.
"Sorry, mistook you for someone..."
Genya just looked away, "Tch..."
The twins gave us our crows while Zensitu was complaining about his sparrow. Then they asked us to pick out a ore.
"Uh, excuse me... I have a katana already, so can I just not pick another ore out."
"But if that's your master's katana, then you can pick out a ore."
"Uhm, no, please. Let me have my own katana. It was uh- from-eh- my -uh-family so can I have keep my katana to remember-uh-my-eh-uk- family?" I lied through my teeth.
"Okay, we will twist the rules if that's what you want."
"Thanks!"
I whispered under my breath. "Hah, hopefully no one notices that my katana has Rengoku's hilt... and hopefully no one will question anything... but I will have to visit the swordsmith village to visit my former friend... so that I can still be close to him even though I have a different katana..."
Then I headed back, to give the news to Urokodaki-san.
ZENSITU POV:
I have no idea how I survived. Nor did I know why that guy with the earring decided to say hi to the big scary guy. I leaned back, just in case the big guy would take his angry on me. Thank the gods he didn't take his angry on me.
Then as we are picking out our ores the guy with the earring didn't want to pick out the ore for some reason, because of his family...
Then I heard him whisper under his breath, "Hopefully no one notices my katana has Rengoku's hilt..."
WAIT WHAT??? RENGOKU, THE FLAME PILLAR? HUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH?
Then he whispers something else but I was too in shock to listen.
EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH? I leaned away from the guy then he waved to the pretty girl, the scary big man and me.
Huh?
I didn't know the guy but for some reason I thought I knew who he was for a second.

Wait, who is that?

GENYA POV:
What? The boy with the earrings just called out my name. For some reason I couldn't help but to think that I knew this guy. That's why it was so weird.
Who is that guy who had the earrings? Just who is he?
Tanjiro? Wait, who is that? Is that his name? How...

Who is Tanjiro and who is the boy with the hanafuda-like earrings?
KANAO POV
I did what Master told me. The crow landed on my arm. Then after I picked my ore out I saw the boy with the hanafuda-like earrings. It shouldn't have bothered me, nothing really bothered me since I couldn't do things on my own but for some reason, I found myself reaching out to call for him, as if I could make decisions by myself.
This has never happened to m before.
How strange... who is he?
I shouldn't be wondering who he in the first place. Master didn't order it, I didn't flip the coin.
I found myself almost crying. A single tear fell from my eye.
WHAT?
I have never cried before like this, not even for Master Kanae's death.
Then I found myself trying to ask him, "Who are you?" But it seemed like luckily he didn't hear me.
What? I should have flipped a coin, I should have never ben crying like this or making decisions by my own.
I ended up heading back to the mansion, then I flipped to coin to either said something about this or not. It landed tails, so I didn't.
If I got my ability to express emptions then why did I have to flip a coin?

MEANWHILE TANJIRO POV:
Achoo! I stated to walk to Urokodkai's house but I kept-ACHOO!, ugh do I have -ACHOO!.

Whatever, but then out of the corner of my eye I saw Nezuko.
She was standing there as she quickly started to rush towards me.
