Another Chance (Discontinued)

Nostalgic-Chapter 3

 (Early update since I finished my lesson 11 Chinese homework :))

UROKODAKI POV:

The old crow(which was Giyuu's crows friend of something) bonked his head on the door and sent me a letter. It proceeded to fly away right away I took the letter.

I opened the letter:

Urokodaki-san, I am sorry to give you a big favor. However I came across a boy with a demon girl.

 A demon girl?

And I want you to take in that boy and see if he can become a slayer. Take in the demon girl as well, it is surprising how she didn't even try to eat her brother, instead hugging her brother and caring for him. It is also strange, the boy knows breaths. Train him to see if he can become a slayer. His name is Kamado and in at least 2 days he will be at the foot of the misty mountain.

It isn't like Giyuu to lie or anything and even though it was against the rules, I will respect his decision. A person who wasn't a slayer but know breaths? 

I headed down the mountain, just to check if Kamado and his sister would be down the mountain.

TANJIRO POV

I turned around and saw Urokodaki right behind me. 

"Oh, sorry, didn't smell you there..."

It was such a long time seeing Urokodaki, because I never really got to visit him. I started to tear up, luckily I think that Urokodaki didn't die the last time I was fighting...

"Why are you crying?"

"Huh? Oh..." I looked for an excuse, "Because you remind me of my dead father?" I said, my eyes pulled back while I was biting my lips. It was plain obvious that I was lying, and Urokodaki would know that I was lying just by sensing it from me.

"You wield a katana, you travel with a demon sister, is you name Kamado?"

"Oh, yes?"

"You use breaths and have the body of a slayer, but how come you aren't in the corps."

"Uh..." I didn't know what to do because Urokodaki would see right through my lies, but I still made up a white lie. "Oh, my family passed down breaths so I learned it?"

UROKODAKI POV

I come down the mountain and sense a boy, what was strange was that he was at the level of a Hashira. How strange.

I stepped forward and he turned around. He wore earrings and wielded a katana that had a different shade of black, as well as little fire designs on it. It even had... a flame hilt.

"Oh, didn't smell you there." 

 I sensed that he was relieved and happiness. But what was strange that he also felt a tiny bit sad but also a big feeling of  ...

Nostalgia.

How strange.

I asked him two questions but it was clear that he was lying, but not like a big lie, more of a small lie.

"If you want to turn your sister back into a human and get revenge, you have to become a slayer. Do you want to become a slayer, know that you already know breaths?"

"Ah, but I was already a slayer." He mumbled something under his breath.

"Hm?"

"Oh, yes! I will kill the person who killed my family!"

Strange, I sensed a sad feeling from him but can't tell what it is.

TIMESKIP

I let the Kamados into my house/place, and prepared a futon for his sister. His sister went to sleep right away. So she can control herself...

 As soon as the young Kamado stepped into the house, I could sense such a great amount of nostalgic feeling. I would have gotten creeped out and asked Kamado why but smelled again that he meant no harm but instead just the feeling of relief,

Again, the sense of Nostalgic and relief.

I kept smelling and sensing as I talked to Kamado, he kept feeling nostalgic and a sense of relief.

But why?

TIMESKIP(Three nights)(After Tanjiro quickly avoided the traps to follow Urokodaki down from the mountain, Urokodaki quickly accepted him.)

I had him swing his blade to observe him then had him train under the waterfall to look how he reacted.

I Also had him show the breath that he knew. He told me he knew the breath of the water and another one. She showed me it and it was true, however he also showed me another form of breath, that I didn't completely know about. I would have to do research.

So he truly should be a slayer, one on the hashira level. It was almost like he already trained under a stronger water level waterfall. But a stranger thing is that he chanted words while under the waterfall with ease.

I gave him food while we both sat next to his sister.

"Have you even trained under a waterfall back in your home? You lived up in the mountains, so I was wondering how you looked like you were used to it."

"Eh... yeah, I guess..."

That is a white lie, I sensed.

"The rock pillar's water fall training was ten times harder!"

"Huh? The rock pillar-"

Kamado started to choke on his food, coughing. I patted his back and he stopped coughing, as he took some water and bowed to me and thanked me. The rock pillar training? No, I must have heard it wrong, but I sensed that Kamado wasn't lying. I also sensed nervousness, as if he was trying to keep something away from me. Kamado is truely a strange boy.

TANJIRO POV:

AHHHH, at this rate I am not going to keep up the act. Urokodaki can smell that I am lying and everything. Calm down, Calm down.

I decided that I just should lie without telling anything, I mean, I am not that bad at lying? Right?

I looked over Nezuko, it has been 3 days she was asleep. In around 2 years, she should wake up. I think t would be okay...

But the main thing is, that I needed to find Tamayo and Yushiro. I still remember the house that they lived in. 

Now what? Do I really have to wait two years? I would like to sharp my skills, because it feels a bit sloppy. So my goal for right now is to wait two years to find Tamayo and Yushiro or to just go and find them directly. 

Sorry if people's names are spelled wrong. Also I feel great, after doing almost all of my homework and projects :). (Early updates are usually on Friday if possible but this can slide.)
