Author's note: I actually wrote this story back in April so you'll notice some of the characters introduced later in the season/ season 2 are not there, which is also the reason why some of the concepts of the story line later on don't add up, this is all based on episode 14 of season 1. With that said I hope you enjoy and relate with Aiden (I did).

The best part of every third year's week is getting days off. As for Aiden, he spent those days with his two best friends Avery and Ainsley, but something was off for him on a typical night of spill the tea, sis.

"And I was like thank you next bitch", Ainsley cracked up along with Avery. "Oh Chica, even my wigs last longer", Avery tried to catch her breath from laughter, "right Aiden?"

She noticed Aiden's blandness as he nodded slowly. He seemed inexplicably distant regardless of the fact that he was sitting on the same bed as the girls. Seeing how he didn't even touch the bowl of skittles that Avery specifically bought for him that night, Avery knew something was up.

"Aiden, is this about tomorrow's football game? I know it's a lot of pressure, but you-"

"It's not that! It's just uh...I don't know, I've been feeling...odd lately", sighed Aiden.

"Bestie, you know you can tell us anything", Ainsley crawled across the bed to sit next to Aiden so that he was now sandwiched between her and Avery.

"Well, I just get jelly sometimes. You guys have had boyfriends in the past and you're able to make fun of your exes even though we're all single, but I'm not even out of the closet yet. Plus, I'm probably the only gay guy at this school, I'm gonna be single forever!"

Avery held Aiden's hand for moral support, "you might not know it, but you're the total package and you deserve to be loved! Winter break is coming, we'll be out of here and you will meet your prince charming".

"How could you be so sure?", Aiden sounded hopeless.

"Because I know everything, meaning I know love will find its way to you sooner than you know it", Avery grinned cheerfully. They all gathered for a brief group hug.

"Until then, we're gonna relax, watch Golden girls, and forget it all", Avery handed Aiden the bowl of skittles and unwrapped a fun size snickers for Ainsley.

"Now seriously mijo, eat your skittles I bought them with love".
