Chapter 5

I finished my last order and started to get ready to leave it was 6 now and there was still light outside so i would be fine to go home now. I got my stuff ready and told my boss that i was ready to leave and he let me go so i said bye and left the shop. I walked to the bus stop and waited for my bus to come i heard a honk of a car i looked up and saw a black Audi the person inside put the window down and popped their head out.

I instantly recognized who it was it was the man that came to collect that big order. "Isn't it always a coincidence that I'm always seeing you guys?" I said chuckling "Yeah it is little one why are you out here all by yourself?" He says "Isn't it obvious I'm waiting for my bus" i said chuckling "but it will be getting dark soon let me take you home" he says "It's no problem i can get home myself" i said "No,no,no i have somewhere that i need to get to so let me drop you off first pleasee" he says "Ughh fine", "Yes come on in" he said coming out of the car and opening the door for me what a gentleman.

I got inside and told him my address and he drove off. "Why's it that I'm always seeing you around at the most coincidentally times?" I ask "Maybe because we probably live near each other did you ever think of that?" He said getting smart with it i rolled my eyes "But I've never seen you guys around before though and you also just happen to know who Isaiah is" i say "How do you know him?" I ask "He's my best friend" he says "Oh really for how long", "For a very long time I've knew him from college" he says "And how old are you?" I ask "I'm 26 and he's 27" he says they ain't that old that's alright i think to myself.

"What's your name?" I ask him and he chuckles "Your in the car with a person you don't even know the name of" he says i scoff and roll my eyes "Well i never got the chance to since i only met you once and you just came to pick up an order and also for your information you begged me to get in your car" i said crossing my arms across my chest. He laughs "It's Romello little one" he says "Why do you keep calling me little one?" I ask "Because you're short" i scoff "I'm not short you're just really tall I'm actually 5'7" i say and he just shrugs his shoulders.

Soon we're now at my apartment complex "Well thanks for the ride" i say taking off my seatbelt and getting my bag. "It's fine" he says and i leave the car and walk to my apartment complex i reach the door i turn around and still see him in the car looking at me i turned around and opened the door with my card and i put one foot in and turned around and saw him starting to drive away i guess he was just waiting for me to enter then to make sure I'm safe that was really nice of him.

I enter my apartment kind of exhausted i got a notification from my phone i saw my paycheck and a message from Raven saying that we was going out tonight. I groaned i just wanted to stay home and rest she said that it starts at 9 it's 6:30 so i have some time to rest and then later I'll get up and get ready.

I've eaten and showered and I've dressed up I'm currently doing my hair and makeup i got a text on my phone from Raven saying she'll be here in a few minutes so i just quickly finish doing my eyeliner and i lined my lips with a black eyebrow pencil and put lipgloss on. I put that away and get up and get my keys, bag and my phone and i then hear a knock on my door.

"Coming!" I say making my way out off my room and go and get the door. Raven see's and she gasps "Oh my gosh you look so good!" She said "Wow thank you friend you look amazing too!" I gave her hug and left my apartment and closed and locked my door behind me "Come on let's go" i said.
