Walking to Potions was a blur. You went form the Grand Hall to Snape's classroom with your friends and entered the door.
As Snape began talking in his usual monotone, you realized how heavy your eyelids felt. Slowly, they began to droop, and slowly, you fell asleep.
You woke up to Snape. Talking to you.
"And, Miss Haley, why is it so hard for you to stay awake in my classroom? 10 points from Gryffindor."
The Gryffindors in the class groaned while the Slytherins snickered.
Look, living off of less than four hours of sleep did not make you a very pleasant person.
"Maybe, because one of your students kept me up last 2 last night."
Mattheo sighed from across the room.
"Well, it's not my fault you were screaming and crying at 4:50 in the morning."
You stood up and put your hands on the desk.
"Well, it's not my fault that your father-"
"Just what has this got to do with my father!?" He shouted.
"I-," You stopped. "I don't know."
Snape eyed you both suspiciously before saying, "Detention for both of you." And continuing on with his class.

"[Name], can you stay after class?" Professor Lupin asks just after he finished his lecture.
At first, you thought you were in trouble. Because, of course you would be.
After everyone left, Proffessor Lupin stopped you.
"Professor, I don't mean to be rude, but I have detention with Snape very soon and if this is going to take a while I may need a note."
Lupin shook his head, "No, I'm afraid it won't take too long. But do follow me,"
He says as he gestures to behind him. You journey into piles of devices and gadgets before you and Proffessor Lupin come up on a familar closet.
"In a few weeks, I will have to pull out this old cupboard for the Third Years again. If I can recall correctly, your boggart was something most peculiar."
You remembered the scene, as you stepped up to the wardrobe. Already you were shaking, afraid that you would be exposed of your worst fear.
You thought you didn't know what it was. You did. As the doors opened, an image of you sleeping materialized. Beads of sweat gathered on your forehead and as the image zoomed out, vines grew on your wrists and neck, binding you to an eternal reality of nightmares.
You looked around the classroom in a panic and looked at the image straifht on. The longer you looked, the angrier you were. You didn't want to be bound to this fate. You pointed your wand and whispered the word, "Ridikkulous."
"What a tine that was." You said, reaching to touch the cabinet doors. Lupin eyed you.
"I know why you missed Yesterday's ceremony."
You nodded, "It wasn't much of a secret."
He agreed, "No, of course not. But I thought you might have realy wondered.. why?"
You looked at him from the side and tried to stay calm.
"I fainted."
"Is that what you've been telling yourself?"Silence overcame the room. "You're excused, Miss Haley, but I'm always here to answer your questions."
"Thanks."
You said and rushed out of the room, promising yourself you would never return to ask him said questions.
"Good Afternoon, Professor." You said as you entered the potions classroom and took a seat next to a girl in Slytherin robes and Mattheo.
"Yes, yes. Now that you're all here I'm going to leave you three to clean the classroom. No magic. I find out you missed any given spot in this dungeon, and you get another detention for tommorow." Snape said in his monotone voice and sweeped out of the room.
"He's so dramatic." You muttered as you grabbed a wet rag and started mopping the floor.
"Circe, hand me that please." You heard Mattheo tell the girl, Circe.
"Get it yourself, you dimwit." She snapped back as she continued to scrub.
"Why are you such a bore, Zabini?" Mattheo mocked as he stood up spitefully and went to grab the sponge.
Circe opened her mouth but then bit her tounge. It wasn't worth it.
"Riddle, I'm sorry for getting you in trouble today." You said after a few minutes.
Mattheo clicked his tounge. "I wish I could be sorry about keeping you up last night, but unfortunately it seems I'm unable to."
Circe sighed. "Why are you such a jerk, Riddle? Just accept the apology! Is it really that difficult for you to be a decent human?"
Mattheo stuck his tounge out and her and rolled his eyes.
"You guys are a joy to be together around." You said with a small laugh. There were a few moments of silence before Circe let out a small giggle and because of it, Mattheo chuckled.
"Yeah, I don't suppose we're much of a pleasure, huh, Zabini?" Mattheo said as he dipped a rag in a bucket of water.
"I guess not." Circe responded. There was a splatter from behind you and you looked to see Mattheo's rag just slipping off of Circe's face.
Your jaw dropped as Circe saw red. "Oh, that's the last straw Riddle. You're gonna face my wrath."
Surprisingly, the water fight that was about to happen between the three of you was going to efficiently clean the classroom.
Mattheo let out a joyful chuckle. He was soaked completely through, and so were you and Circe, but you three were still bursting with laughter that the situation you were in.
"I'll admit, that was really fun. Makes me wanna get detention with Snape more often." Circe said.
"Yeah," you laughed, "Who ever knew us three would get along this way."
No one said anything after that but they were still smiling, so you hadn't said anything awkward.
"I'll see you tommorow, [Name]." Mattheo said as he slipped out of the room, sending a wink your way.
