You let out a chuckle as you entered the Gryffindor Common Room.

At this time, no one would be there. So you laid down your wet robes and sighed as you took a seat in front of the fire.

You heard footsteps from behind you and decided to check who it was. Harry, was standing there, zoning out.

"Harry? Do you want to take a seat?"

Harry nodded his head aggressively before he came to take a seat beside you.

He seemed to be focused on the fire, but he still asked you, "Why are you all wet?"

"I had detention with Snape."

You could tell he was confused, but he didn't say anything and held his tounge.

He looked from the fire and into your eyes.

"The Weasleys want you at their house for Christmas. I want you at my house."

Harry said suddenly.

"Me and Ron have been fighting all day about it. But it's your decision."

You were silent for a moment, unsure how to respond. "Well, I'm both of your friends. I'll see how I feel."

Harry nodded his head and looked back at the fire. He looked a little hurt. But why?

Harry fidgeting his fingers, and every once in a while he tried to move one of the towards you but then recalled it.

"Harry," you said and put your hand over his, "what's wrong?"

Harry stopped and stared at your hands.

"I- I need to go. I'll see you tommorow." Harry said as he jumped up and rushed up to the boys dorms.

You thought for a moment and then went back to your dorm. You slipped into the bed that was  in between Hermione's and Ginny's.

The last thing you remember before drifting off was Hermione wishing you a goodnight.

"[Name]! Wake up! Wake up!" You were faced with Ginny, who was shaking you violently.

Your eyes shot open and you reminded yourself where you were.

"Oh, my God." You said breathlessly, sitting up, "what time is it?"

"It's 6, [Name], are you okay?"

You looked at Ginny. Her hair was a mess and her eyes were watery.

"Oh, Ginny, Darling I'm fine, what's wrong?"

"I-I woke up, and you were shaking and Hermione wasn't here and I didn't know what to do and I just freaked out." Ginny let out a sob and buried her head in your chest.

You ran your fingers in her hair and sighed.

"It's okay. Did you get much sleep last night?"

"No."

"I'm sorry." You muttered to her. "No, really, I'm sorry but we really have to get dressed!"

Ginny agreed and you both got up and started getting dressed.

"I look fine?" You asked Ginny and she assured you so.

You guys made your way to the Great Hall and sat beside Harry, Ron, and Hermione.

Harry avoided your eyes for almost the whole morning. Each class you went to with Harry he would purposely avoid you.

At first you had though you did something wrong, but then you started to get a little angry. You didn't do anything wrong, so what was his deal?

You grabbed his wrist on the way out of your last class.

"Hello? Harry, what is going on with you?" You asked.

"Oh, hi, [Name]."

"Do you want to tell me about what you were going to last night?" You asked him, lifting an eyebrow. He shakes his head violently.

"Nope, I actually forgot what I wanted to say anyway."

"Are you sure?"

"Positive."

"[Name], you should really get some fresh air." Hermione tells you as you two study for the upcoming muggle studies test that you had tormented yourself over for the past week.

"No! Fresh air is for losers, Hermione." You tell her firmly.

"Come on, [Name], you're hyperventilating. Out, now."

You sighed. "Fine, but only because you're cool."

"Yes, yes, now out!" Hermione ushers you out of the common room, and it's dark, they're barely anyone around. Technically it isn't curfew yet, but it will be soon. You instinctively moved down the dark hallways, to an open window where you could stand for a few moments and get a few mouth full of wonderful, fresh air.

Just as you were planning on taking that breath, however, you were interuppted by a violent shiver. Apparently, even in the end of September, it is freezing at Hogwarts.

1st Person POV

"Are you cold, love?" A voice came from behind me, and I was so tired of people sneaking up on me that I might have socked poor Cedric.

"No, I'm fine." But my body betrays me and another violent shiver fills my body. "Anyway, how are you, Ced? What are you doing up here?"

He let's out a breath if air, rocking on his feet.

"I'm fine. And you?"

"Good." Another shiver shakes me. Stupid traitor body.

There's a rustling behind me, and I turn to see Cedric, no longer in his yellow sweater, but in a long-sleeved black tee-shirt.

He holds it out to me expectantly.

"No. I'm not taking that! It's yours, are you crazy?"

"If you don't out this sweater on, it's just going to sit in my hands because I am not putting it back on."

"You're kidding."

"I am not."

"Fine." I take the sweater from him and pull it over my head, being intoxicated immideatly by a strong honey scent which I assume must be the shampoo he uses.

It's.. warm.

"You must be freezing Cedric-" I start to fuss, but he presses a finger to my mouth. Oh. Oh.

"I am fine as long as you are fine. Are you warm?"

"Are you?"

"I asked first."

"Yes, I am much warmer." I hesitate. "Thanks, Ced."

"Always."
