Are we...partners? [ inspector Zenigata X Detective reader!]

Chapter one: a newcomer

You woke up in a splendid and fancy hotel room, after a long plane trip that you didn't quite enjoy as much as you would have wanted too. being in the air in general isn't realy your cup of tea even more if it's in a country you barely know.

In any case you were sent here for the only purpose to help to the Case of Lupin the 3rd, and maybe with a littel bit of luck when all of this is over, you'll get to visit this marvelous county a littel, and finally getting a vacation after all this hard work.

You began to prepare youself, dressed up with a elegant but casual work uniform, took your bag and got out of the room, you didn't really get breakfast but you are just going to order one at a local cafe down town.

After ordering you favorite Latte, you continue your way until you see an immense building in front of you, this is were you are going to work for the next couple of months and yet, you can't help youself but feel nervous, after all this is so new for you.

You enter the building and you are instantly greeted by the sound of someone yelling, you look at were all this shounting comes from, and no surprise, Its Koichi Zenigata's office, and unfortunately for you this is were you are supposed to go.

You knock, but no surprise, he didn't hear you, so you take all your courage, and directly opened the door to confront him.

Here he is, Koichi Zenigata himself, yelling angrily over the phone.

- " What dont you understand with i dont need help!, i'm perfectly capable of catching Lupin by myself and- Wait did he just hang up on me ?!"

While you see him groan in frustration, you decided to get his attention by gently saying.

-" Good morning Inspector Zenigata."

He suddenly lift his head and looks at you a moment before speaking.

-" Who are supposed to be?"

-" Im Detective Y/n, sent to help you for the case of Lupin the 3rd, well i suppose you already new that since you where just telling how.. excited you were on getting helo from our superiors."

-" Look, i dont know why they don't think I am capable of doing this job myself and sent a miss goody-two-shoes to help, But i dont need your help! you can go now."

You just met him, But this man is already getting on your nerves, you didn't get here to be humiliated. so you responded witha stubborn and irritated voice.

-" Listen here, I didn't get here to work with someone that is going to act with an attitude or yell at me when i just arrived, I am here to do my job and my job is to help you catch this thief,and when all this is over I leave as if I never were here in the first place."

He stays silent, as if he didn't expect you to respond that harshly, you slowly replaced your glasses on your nose.

-" J'espère que je me suis faite comprendre, Now please, could you show me where my office is Inspector?"

-"..Right, This way. "

He gets up from his chair, and you realize how tall he is compared to you, like more than half of your size, he shows you the wau to your office.

After he left, You can't help but think how much of a moron he is, well this isn't going to go as easily as you wanted it to go, but it wont change anything anyway.
