Chapter two

Rose and I looked at each other and Rose looked back at Lilli. "Okay Honey , but at first we need to go home and eat after that we can visit Helen and her family okay?" Rose said. "You can eat at ours if you want it really doesn't bother me I always cook too much and I got enough food at home so two more doesn't really make any big difference" I replied. "If that's okay with your husband it's okay with me" Rose answered and I just started playing nervously with my fingers. That's when I realised that I'm still wearing the wedding ring on my finger. So I awkwardly said "Oh, we divorced one month ago so it really doesn't matter what he thinks" "I'm really sorry." Rose said and I just replied with "You don't have to be it's better that way, should we get going?" "Yes of course" Rose replied while narrowing her head.
Rose POV:
I shamefully looked at the floor and could just wonder what her reply means. How could anyone not love her she's gorgeous, caring and sooo adorable beautiful Urgh Rose stop she's probably straight and is the mother of your child's friend. We left the kindergarten together. I followed her car to her house and parked behind it in the driveway. Her house was utterly gorgeous. It was totally her with wild flowers in the garden mixed with lavender, roses and lots of other kinds of different, stunning flowers. I didn't realised that I was staring in awe at the house but I snapped out of it when I heard the car door of y/n's car shut. I unbuckled my seatbelt and got out of the car. I opened the car door for my little girl and Lilli jumped out of the car. She ran directly to her friend and I followed behind.
Your POV:
I saw Lilli running to us and Helen and her started walking to the front door. I got Mina out of the car she was already a sleep after her eventful day. I picked her up and placed her on my hip, her arms were wrapped around my neck and she snuggled her face into my hair. I waited until Rose reached me and we made our way to the front door.
After I put Mina to sleep in her room I went down into the living room where Rose was seated on the big sofa. Helen and Lilli were already in Helens room playing with her favourite toys. I asked if Rose wanted to  drink something and we went into the open kitchen area. I started cooking spaghetti with tomato sauce. "I hope spaghetti with tomato sauce is okay?" I asked. " Yeah sure it is actually my favourite childhood food." Rose answered. A light smile lightens up my face and I told her it's the same for me. I also told her my little secret that if my kid are at my mothers and I got an evening for my own I like to eat it because it reminds me of my childhood and kind of makes me comfortable. We talked a bit about our childhood until I said something I might regret. "Urgh I think my 16 yo me would be disgusted if it would see me" " And why is that?" Rose asked."I never wanted to be pregnant and I never wanted to get married...to a man." I said the last part in a sigh and more to myself than to Rose, but she still heard it. "It's the same thing for me I never thought I would have a biological child at least not this way."She said. "I never thoughtI could love my children sooo much after 9 months of torture" I admitted and chuckled slightly. "Yes, same. All the other parents are like *I loved my pregnancy and loved carrying my child around it was sooo in powering* and I always ask myself why or did I have a different kind of pregnancy?" I giggled and agreed and added "but their cute little faves make it up tho". Time went by quickly and while taking about parenting and bonding about different shitty parts of pregnancy we put the food in bowls and place them on the table. Afterwards I asked Rose if she wanted to go and get the girls with me. She said yes immediately and we went to wake up Mina.
Minas room had everywhere little flower elements and on one wall was painted a beautiful meadow with one purple rabbit looking out of it and standing on his back legs. She also had some tiny mushrooms at the bottom edge of the wall. Rose walked in and her eyes grew wide she immediately asked me if I painted the little details in her room. I proudly answered with a yes and we made our way to the little crib Mina slept in. "Such a handsome little girl." Rose said. "with an extraordinary beautiful name"she added. I replied with a simple smile and  thanked her. I got Wilhemina out of the crib and said "Lilli isn't so bad either. I actually wanted to name my child Lilli when I was younger but we got a dog and I named her Lilli bc I thought the name would fit her perfectly and that I could find another name for my child." " That's cute when I was younger I never thought about the first name but I always knew that the second name of my daughter would be Elizabeth because I wanted to name her after my Grandmother." "Yes I did that too Helens second name is Margret and Minas second name is Margot, just like the first names of my Grandmas." "That's really pretty" Rose said while we were walking to  Helens room. As we entered we saw our girls sitting at the  little  table in the middle of the room. We decided to join them and I asked what they were playing. Helen answered with a big smile "We are playing family. These are our little child's." She said and pointed on two dolls each one  sitting on a chair. " And we are their mums Lilli added." A smile spread across my face and I just thought jup definitely my daughter no doubt. I'm happy that I could raise them open minded even though when my husband was with us we were quite controversial or maybe it's just my gay genes. "So do you want to take them to eat with us at the big table in the dining room?" I asked and both girls nodded. They both picked their dolls up and followed Mina into the dining room where everything was already prepared. We sat down and the girls placed their dolls on empty chairs. We ate and talked a little bit. During dinner I found out that Rose also was single but she has never been married. After dinner the girls went back into Helens room and took Mina with them. Rose and I washed the dishes and cleaned everything. While that I got a good look on her hands and my oh my I only could imagine what they could do to me. Time flew by and it felt like we spend only one minute with organising and cleaning everything up which turned out to actually be half an hour. We talked during cleaning and somehow landed at the topic of our children's biological dads. Lillis "father" left Tose shortly before she was born and you already know my story. SuddenlyI asked "So do you have a boyfriend?" and I mentally slapped myself for the question very smooth you stupid mf I thought, but the question didn't seem to bother Rose instead she answered "No, would you like to?" and giggled but her mood changed from Finn and laughing to a serious and sad one. I asked her if she was alright and she only answered with "It's okay, but I just realised that I am probably going to stay single forever." and sighed heavily. " i'm never going to have a girlfriend." She said and as soon as the words left her mouth she covered it with her hand.
