Chapter three

... and as soon as the words left her mouth she covered it...
Rose POV:
Oh wow really smooth Rose Weil...oh my- what is she going to think of me... what if she never wants to see me again...I only knew her for a short time but I already grew awfully close to her...
The only thing I could really do was looking at y/n's face in in shock. She just looked at me and said "Oh my...you look so cute when you're scared." I was speechless. She just added " You don't need to be scared that would be ridiculous." My mind seemed like it wasn't working properly and all I could ask was "And why would it be ridiculous?". She started giggling and asked me if I didn't get it. I just looked at her with furrowed eyebrows and a confused expression on my face. Finally she explained "Surprise, I'm gay too" and we both stared laughing uncontrollably. It was such a odd situation and I couldn't describe the relive that washed over me. After what felt like eternity the laughter died down and we just stared into each other's eyes. I broke the silence and asked "Are you serious?". She just replied with a simple "Jup" and hugged me. At first my body was stiff but soon I melted into her embrace and smelled the beautiful lavender sent of her hair. After a moment we broke apart even tho I could have stayed like this forever. I looked eyes with her and it seemed like we both got lost in each other's. I realised that I was staring again and quickly lifted my gaze. This was when our daughters entered the room and with that immediately a question popped up in my head. Do her kids know that she's gay? Does my daughter know I'm gay ? I mean probably she cached some hints but why should she know we never talked about it and she doesn't know her mother acting different. I got pulled out of my thoughts as soon as Mina and Hellen asked a question "Mum can Lilli stay the night here so we can have a sleepover?" Y/N looked at me and said it's the middle of the week. I agreed and asked if it would be okay in the weekend next week because we were going to visit Lillis grandmother. Y/N agreed and said that they  are going to visit their grandma too.

Your POV
Rose and Lilli left because is was already half past five in the evening. I decided to get my daughters ready for bed and before that make them some dinner which was some avocado cream on toast. After they ate Helen was allowed to watch some tv while I got Mina, who nearly Fall a sleep at dinner because of her exhausting day, tucked into bed. I went downstairs into the living room where Helen was already cuddle up on the couch under some blankets, so I asked her if I could join till her favourite show ended and she needed to go to bed. At first I sat next to Helen but soo me cuddled up on my lap and rested her heat on my torso. She fell asleep quickly afterwards and I carried her into her bed and tucked her in. I got my book that I currently read from my room and went downstairs. I sat down and turned the tv off. I nearly fell a sleep when I got a notification on my phone it was an unknown number which confused me a little bit. But as soon as I read the message I remembered that I gave Rose my phone number.

That sounds great. I'm kind of worried bc Lilli never had a sleepover at a friends house. She only had some at my mothers.

Don't be worried it'll be finde as my Grandma would say "passt schon"(it'll work out). If you're free on Friday you can stay as long as you like and make sure that she's alright and feels comfortable with everything.

I went to sleep that night with the decent thought of a woman who was the human image of a rose.
The next few days until the weekend went by quickly. I looked forward to visiting my mum and finally seeing my childhood dog again. And of course celebrate my mums birthday. I decided to take two days off work after the weekend to stay one day longer and I also called the kindergarten to tell them that my children won't come to kindergarten on Monday. I would use the Tuesday to organise everything after our little trip and have a day off where I can have the morning for myself. My mother was so excited that we would visit her again because after the divorce we hadn't had much time and it was kind of stressful so we didn't see her for about one month in person. We called her and skyped but it still wasn't the same. To say my mother was quite pleased with my divorce was an understatement she supported me in any way and told me that I should have married a woman from the start. Don't get me wrong she loves my children more than herself but not their father. She also told me that she wanted to introduce me to a daughter of one of her friends. I mean I love her support since Tuesday my feelings only seem to grow for some cute ass fashion designer. We texted a lot, mostly in the evening when our children were asleep and it already feels like we know each other for a plenty of time.
Friday 1 pm
I already packed the children's bags and loaded them into the trunk of the car and now it was time to pic up the children. When I arrived I got out of the car and met Rose. She looked kind of stressed and she answered that she got spontaneously invited over to her mums and that there will be a party of one of her friends where she wanted to introduce her to one of her friends children. What a coincidence and smirked on the inside. I asked her if she would take Lilli she said, that she would take her. And we both went inside the kindergarten and got our children. We did some small talk and when we got to our cars we said our goodbyes. Rose opened her arms and got me into a soft and warm hug. We stayed like that, honestly I could have started like that this forever wrapped in the comfort of her arms, I felt save something that I didn't feel for a long time. Actually it seemed like the world around us would blend and I think she felt the same. I wanted to say like this forever and never move out of her warm embrace. Our moment was disturbed by a little hand tugging on the hem of my coat. I started giggling and I heard the tiny voice of Mina saying "mummy...we need to go I wanna see Oma". That's what she started calling my mother after I told her that's what I called my grandma. My family was originally from Germany until we moved here. Our ways parted and a stupid grin made it's way onto my face. My children were on the backseat and talked about their days while I was listening. They asked me if we could listen to some music while our little two hour road trip. I asked them what they wanted to listen to and Mina said, I quote "the witchy music dad never liked" and Helen added "yesss stewwwiii nicks". I laughed and was happy about the fact that they got my music taste and started playing landslide. They both started singing the lyrics kind of horribly but convinced me to join we laughed a lot while singing along with the songs until it got quite and I realised that in fact they both fell asleep. That's when I decided to take a little break to visit the bathroom and get some snacks for the kids because I know that they are going to be awfully hungry when they wake up. Normally I would prepare nicks for them but today I was simply to lazy after I packed everything into the trunk and I knew the journey wasn't long. Right when I was about to reach my car I got a call from Ros💜. There it was again that stupid grin, that made it's way onto my face. I answered the phone and Rose asked me how the journey went. And we talked a bit until I said I needed to get back into the car so we could continue our little trip. It was quite boring because the kids were asleep until we reached my mums house. I went outside and opened my children's car doors and they started to stir a bit. I unplugged Minas seatbelt and got her out of her child seat. I placed the tiny joy bundle on my hip and she snuggled her head into my hair. I went onto the other side of the car and unbuckled Helens seatbelt. I got her out as well and she clung tightly onto my neck and wrapped her legs around my hips. I started walking to the house and when I knocked onto the door I heard the exited food steps of my dog on the tiling I'm my house. My mum rushed to the door and opened it. I immediately got greater by a happily squealing dog who jumped onto my legs and a warm hug of my mother. She took Helen and went inside the house. I closed the door and got onto my knees Mina was awake now and my dog Lilli was jumping up and down and tried to give us kisses. She may be an 18 year old mini dachshund who had a proud shoulder height of 20 cm but she still behaved like she was not one day older than 1 year. She was a really healthy dog and loved to cuddle. We were younger and I still lived in a house with her I usually would got on long walks with her after school so my head would loose his cloudiness the school hat left. I picked Lilli up without free arm and she gave both of us some wet kisses onto our face. Mina crunched her nose and stared giggling. It didn't take long for both of of to hold our tummies out of laughter. Helen got out of the living room wile wiping the sleep out of her eyes. She decided join us and sat next to me. She slung her arms around the torso of Lilli and laid down onto her back. Lilli was at first a bit confused but as soon as Helen stopped moving she turned around and started to attack her face with kisses, as same as she did with Mina and me just a few seconds ago. I asked Mina if she wanted to greet her grandma and she nodded exited. We went into the living room where my mother sat in the couch. As soon as I sat down Mina climbed of me and gave my mother a big hug. I decided it was the right moment to text Rose if she arrived well and tell her that we did and the children are happy to see her granny. After we unpacked the car Mina and Helen went out into the garden to play with the dog. That was the first moment today that my mum and I had for ourselves. The first y ty hing she asked me was how the drive has been and who I've texted when we arrived. I told her about our little journey and that it went well the freeway was surprisingly clear and we could dive in a good tempo of 180kmh so we arrived after 1 hour and 50 minutes which is ten Minutes less than usually. I also told her that I texted Rose and that she was the mother of one of Helen's best friends in kindergarten. She told we that she wanted to introduce me to her friends daughter tomorrow at her birthday party and that she also invited them over on Sunday for brunch. I was quite exited to meet the mysterious woman my mother couldn't shut up about. The only thing she told me is that she is really nice, about my age, single, raises her child alone and is absolutely handsome. It still felt kind of odd to be introduced to someone you didn't know but your mother insisted and you couldn't get the feeling out of your head that it felt like you would be betraying Rose. The evening went by quickly and my girls and I went into my old bedroom. They cuddled up onto each side of me and fell asleep quickly after sich an exiting day. My childhood bed was low probably no a bit higher than 25 cm with my mattress on it. So when I was about to fall a sleep I hear the tickling sounds of four paws moving up the stairs and saw a tiny head peaking through the door looking tho the left and then to the right side. The only thing that you could hear now were four paws running ove the floor and soon you could hear a jumping sound and then is was silent until you felt something move on top of your legs which soon payed itself long as a baguette onto your torso and stomach. As soon as your dog stopped moving you felt her laying her head onto your neck. Next to Minas head. Not long after them you fell asleep.

I just love love love the picture of it.
