Chapter six

Rose POV:
I returned into y/ns room and awkwardly sat on the bed. "It's alright you don't need to be ashamed you know" she said with a slight smile on her face. "We slept in the same bed and woke up on each other, so I think we could skip this part." She said and chuckled. "If I remember it right you were the one laying on top of me isn't that right?" I asked her and had a light grin on my face. " Oh shut it I know you enjoyed it, otherwise you wouldn't have held me in such a strong grasp that I wasn't able to move wouldn't it?" She said and I blushed madly. "Oh honey , no need to blush" she said and walked over to me. I looked towards the ground to hide my red flushed cheeks. She placed two fingers underneath my chin and moved it so our eyes made contact. "Don't do that?" She said. "And what exactly may the thing, that I shouldn't do ?" I asked, looking directly into her beautiful eyes. "Don't hide that beautiful face of yours." She said. "Or else what? Hmm do you need to punish me?" I asked with a sudden wave of confidence. Now it was her time to blush. "Only if you want me to?" She said and now it was enough for me. I decided to stand up and slightly lean in on her. She did the same and placed one of her beautiful hands on my cheek. Everything felt like it was moving in slow motion till our lips collided. It was a sweet loving kiss and we pulled away after some seconds. We were both shy and I decided to make the first move. "Um y/n I um really like you. I-it's okay if you don't feel-" I git cut of by y/n shushing me with a kiss . Afterwards she said "I really like you too silly." We shared another sweet kiss and we both stared smiling like idiots.
Y/N pov:
Omg i can't believe she feels the same. Arggg. "Rose do you um wanna go on a date when we are back at home?" I asked her shyly. She nodded and said that she couldn't imagine anything better than that. We heard little footsteps approaching and pulled away from each other. The door got opened by little Mina walking into my room while saying. Oma told me to get you two because she needs help in the kitchen. We went into the kitchen and helped my mum. "Y/n um I reserved a tennis court for tomorrow, I know it's your last day here but we can play in the afternoon if you want to? And Rose if you would like to you can come as well." My mother said. "Yeah sure, but who will watch over our children?" I asked. My mother answered "Roses mother said she could watch the kids. So Rose are you free tomorrow at 10am ?" "Yes, um. The thing is I can't play tennis." Rose said a bit disappointed. "Oh that's no problem you can use y/ns brothers racked and she can teach you." "Okay, is that alright with you y/n?" She asked. " Yes of course I would love to."I said with a grin on my face. The brunch with Roses mother went by rather quickly. We all talked and laughed a lot. When we finished our mums volunteered to clean the dishes and didn't allow us to help them. We could hear that they were talking about us but we didn't exactly understand what their conversation was about.
Their conversation
"Oh my god our plan to set them up together went better than expected."
"Yes!! I want you to tell me everything!"
"Okay so first of all I thought it was about to fail because my daughter started talking to that blonde next to her but only in a friends way you know. So after some time my daughter realised your daughter next to her and they started talking. After some time they went outside and continued their conversation. Afterwards they both went upstairs to check up on their children. Mina the youngest of my grandchildren couldn't sleep and Helen and Lilli were already fast asleep so my daughter decided to stay with her until she falls asleep. They both got into more comfortable clothes and fell asleep with Mina. That's not everything. Mina woke up in the morning and didn't want to wake them and I was still awake so she came into my bed so they were alone in y/ns room. When I looked inside to check up on them. Y/n slept in Roses strong embrace on top of her with her head on Roses chest."
"Did something else happen?"
"No they both were quite flustered when I decided to confront them about it this morning and they didn't sleep with each other, I asked them and y/n is mostly quite loud in bed and I didn't hear them."
"How the hell do you know how your daughter sounds in bed?"
"I spend six weeks at her and her exhusbands house because I broke my hip and needed some help so she offered and I also walked in on her and her "roommate" in college because I wanted to surprise her on her birthday seemed like she already got a present. And btw she got a beautiful mansion with enough space for Rose and her girl.(she winked at them)"
"Okay that was too much information but that's beautiful with her house."
"Did you know that they already knew each other before?"
"No, how do they know each other?"
"Their kids are best friends."
"That's great."
"Yes they should marry already!"
"Yeas definitely hahahah."
Your POV:
We heard laughter from the kitchen and they soon went to company us in the living room. In the meantime of their conversation we talked and slightly flirted while giving each other short glances. "So what are your plans for today?" Roses mother asked us and I replied with "We planned on going on a walk in the forest with the children. We could go to the forest playground at the big clearing.". "Oh that sounds awesome. Hurry up it's nearly 4pm." "Yes we should get going so the children can play a bit before it gets dark." Rose said. And so we got their children and themselves dressed in something that could get dirty and we both wore thick coats to protect us from the freezing autumn air. I got a collar which glows in the dark for the dog and all of us  went for a ten minute walk to the forest. To say the children were happy would be an understatement. They ran though the red and orange levees which coated the floor of the forest.I let the dog of the leash and she happily ran to join  the children. The children decided to thrown the leaves in the air and the dog tried to catch them. It was a utterly beautiful moment, that we both decided to mesmerise. Rose decided to hook her arm into mine and both of us looked into each other's eyes and smiled. I laid my head on Roses shoulder and we both walked in comfortable silence, just enjoying the moment we shared. "I wish every day could be like this I feel so calm and everything is so perfect and calming." Rose said. "Me too I love to see the children happy and they are so cute. They will grow up so fast and we will always see them as our little girls." I  said. "Yes I was so stressed because of work in the last weeks that I didn't have time for activities like that." Rose agreed. "Urgh yes and I miss having a dog. When I moved out first I decided to leave her with my mum, because I didn't have enough time for her with school and stuff. When I got out of school I was with my ex husband and he hated dogs so I only took her over sometimes when he was god who knows where and now I don't want to take her away from my mum, I know she said I could and we have enough space and everything and the children love her but it feels unfair to me and even though my mum would never admit it but she's like a child for her and she would miss her sooo much."  I said and Rose agreed. I have been thinking about getting a dog for a while now but I can't decide. I went to some animal shelters and most of them only got dogs who either can't with children or can't stay alone. It would also be easier to get a younger dog from someone who breeds them but I don't know what kind of dog. I want a a big one that is clear but I also want a dog that Helen and Mina can easily walk on a leash you know." I said and Rose hummed in agreement. "What about a poodle?" Rose asked. "They are good with children and often are used as therapy dogs so you could bring the dog with you to work." Rose said. "That's a great idea. I'm going to do some research and if a poodle would fit into our family I'm looking for someone who breeds them. Thank you darling." I said. "You are welcome yes darling." Rose said and placed a small kiss on my head. We were walking until we reached the clearing with the playground. We sat down on a bench and the kids stared playing. "Rose I enjoy spending time with you soooo much. I never want this day to stop please." I whined. She stroked my hair and said "I think the same. We should definitely spend more time together." I smile and looked at our children. "When our kids have the sleepover do you want to stay at ours to make sure she is alright with sleeping there." I said and looked into her eyes. "Is that an invitation to spend a night with you my dearest y/n?" Rose asked and playfully raised one eyebrow while looking at me. "Hmmm call it whatever you want, we also have two guest rooms if you want to you can stay there, my room ist just nearer the children's bedrooms." I said. "If that's the case I would of course decide for the best for my children and sleep at your bedroom, not that I wanted to cuddle you all night." Rose said laughing. "Hmm I think we should do what it's best for the children." I said and started laughing. "My dear are we bad parents?" I asked. "No, didn't you listen I volunteered myself for sleeping in your bedroom so my child can sleep well. I don't think we are. Look at us we decided to spend sooo much time together only for our children to be happy." Rose said and we both could holde our laughter anymore. "Oh my god we are good parents we both kicked their stupid ass fathers out of our life's and they don't need to grow up with toxic masculinity. We do sooo much for our children" "Yes definitely, I think every mother should leave her man and fall for their children's best friends mother." "Yes Period- T" "All those straight couples tstststst couldn't do anything for their children." "Children need either two mums or two dads how dare them give their children such an ungrateful childhood." We both were wheezing for air. "Okay I have another one... who do they think their are raid a child against my good catholic will." I said. "Wait out of the context but are you Catholic?" Rose said. "Yes" I said. "And your children?" Rose asked. "They are baptised too." I said. "And how is it going I church when you're gay?" Rose asked. "I didn't go up in flames, it's good and otherwise it doesn't have an impact on my belief. For me God equals with love and I always believed that, so it never really mattered to me. For me my belief is something personal and private as same as my sexuality and I don't know how both of them should have an impact on each other. I mean year there are crazy ones that search for bible verses that are against homosexuality. But first of all they are always against gay man and second of all the bible is sometimes something that doesn't make sense and everyone needs to interpret it their own way, but it isn't an excuse to be an dick." I said and let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding. "Wow o really like your point of view, I could listen to you all day and never get bored." Rose said. "Naww thank you my dear, should we start our way back to my mothers and your mothers house?" I asked and Rose agreed that we should start our way back. Mina was tired and so picked her up and sat her on my shoulders where it didn't take her long to fall asleep. We arrived and Rose and I both got our children ready for bead. Mina was already sleeping and Helen wanted to watch her favourite tv show so we cuddled up on the sofa together and fell asleep in each other's arms.
A/n:
Okay umm it's not 2500 words but I that this point would be a good end. It's also only 185 words less than my usual goal but I think it's quite a good point to end a chapter. Let me know what you think about it
