Dance-off

Via's POV

The moment the boys left, I went on my new MacBook Pro and figured out how to connect my new pink Beats Bluetooth speakers. I then accessed the Magcon iTunes, and looked at the playlist. I chose a song called Heroes. It blasted through my speakers as I danced around my room. I lost myself in the music so I didn't hear the door open. "Hey, Via." I shrieked and assumed a defensive stance. But it was just Hayes. "We're ready. You can come back downstairs. We were gonna give you an official tour, but since you really like dancing, you should challenge the guys to a dance-off. Nash and Taylor are pretty full of themselves." Hayes winked to let me know he was joking and the two of us walked downstairs.

Cam stood up and said, "Via, we're going to give you an official tour of the house. It'll be fun." I looked him in the eye and replied, "But I want to have a dance contest." Hayes smirked at me and quickly stood up. "I'll be deejay!" Cam groaned and said, "Fine, but only for a little while." "I'm the deejay. I'll make the rules. After every song, whoever's out will vote to choose the next person to get out. No playing favorites." Then the dance-off started.

The first song Hayes played was Uptown Funk. I had never personally heard any of these songs, but I knew the titles because as deejay, Hayes announced the names of the songs. First Jacob got out, then Jack J. Then after 4 more songs, everybody except me, Nash, and Taylor were out. "This will be the last song. You guys'll dance, and then we will all vote for the winner. And the song for the round is Anaconda." I was excited because I'd actually heard the song before on the radio. The music started, and both Nash and Taylor immediately started dancing, twerking and generally acting crazy.

I stood there, took a deep breath, counted to eight, and exploded into movement. Hayes was smiling at me; nobody except him had seen me dance like this. I kicked my leg up to my head, grabbed it, and turned around. Then I got really sassy with attitude, getting into Taylor's face. When the song was over, all the boys were blinking, even Hayes. "I think we have a clear winner. Via!" Everybody clapped, and Nash and Taylor came over to congratulate me. "Hey, Taylor. Looks like you've got some competition!" Cam laughed.

Then Matt stood up and said, "Now we get to take you on a tour of the house."
