Via's POV
I focused on breathing in and out as I lay on the cold hard basement floor, feeling my blood pool around my body. The room around me was blurry, as if my eyes couldn't focus correctly. "Please save me." My eyes focused as above me my father stood watching me. "I'm sorry baby, but I did what I had to do." Then he took his gun, held it to his head and pulled the trigger.
Cam's POV
We rushed through the streets speeding to the house that held Via. When we got there, police cars and an ambulance were already there, SWAT teams surrounding the house. Suddenly another gun blast rang through the quiet, waiting neighborhood. All the police immediately rushed into action, breaking down the door. We waited in frenzied, anxious silence to see if Via was okay. Finally, they carried out a body in a body bag.
Then they carried out Via on a stretcher . Her eyes were closed and I could barely see her breathing: "I need 400 cc's of blood, stat!" the paramedic called, wheeling her to the ambulance. We rushed toward her, but police blocked our way. "Who are you?" she asked sternly. "We're really good family friends." She gave me a look. "You can see her at the hospital."
Via's POV
I floated in and out of consciousness as we sped towards the hospital, feeling the blood pumped into my veins and the oxygen flooding my lungs. "Hurry up, Ed!" The female paramedic called. She pushed my hair back from my face. "You're going to be all right." I groaned trying to sit up, but I coughed and blood dribbled between my lips. "Ed, faster!"
Cam's POV
We followed the ambulance and as we arrived I had barely stopped the car before all of us were tumbling out, sprinting towards the hospital entrance. I rushed towards the front desk of the waiting room, slamming my hands on the counter. "Olivia, where is she?" The lady looked at me quizzically. "The one with two bullet holes and a lot of stab marks?" She rifled through some papers. "Oh, Olivia Dallas? She's in surgery now. You're welcome to wait here though." I stumbled backwards stunned. "Wait, did you just say Dallas?"
