Seton Academy: Journey Through A Decade

Chapter 16: Orga and the Strange Card!

Last time Makoto, Jin, and Yang returned from Remnant after helping to defeat the evil god Darkness. A month has passed while they were gone and have some catching up to do! Although now the Mistress and Hakaru have returned as well and their getting ready for the final stage.

The Mistress was covered in her hooded cloak with the Destrodriver strapped firmly around her waist. Hakaru stood loyally by her side as he knew they would be mobilizing soon. "My Mistress, what do you propose we do?" Hakaru asked with his trademark devilish smile on his face. "Decade will almost be ready for our final battle, I regret killing his father the original Decade. Fighting him after I obtained my powers was some of the most fun I ever had in my dull life." The Mistress said as she rested on her throne with boredom evident in her body language.
"You are aware that you will most likely have to kill the new Decade as well? He plans on destroying your Destrodriver, then you would be reduced to the same prodigy girl that was bored with life itself." Hakaru said in a teasing tone as he knew that was the Mistress's biggest fear. "Need I remind you that if your Advent Deck is destroyed, you fade from existence?" The Mistress fires back as she casts an unamused look towards her right hand from under her hood. Hakaru merrily chuckled at his Mistress's words as if his own death was a funny prospect to him.
"You found me after I murdered my bastard father after he hospitalized my mother, the only person that I cared about in my wretched life. If I lose one of my games, I'll accept my fate." Hakaru said simply as his smile never left his face for a second. The Mistress simply sighed at her right hand's words before pulling out two cards and kissing them. The Mistress then tossed them as they took the forms of two Kamen Riders one male and one female. "Now my servants, let me give you a proper boost." The Mistress said as she raised her hand.
              Dark energy flew from her hand before wrapping itself around the two riders causing their visors to glow purple as dark smoky energy was floating around their bodies. "Now go to Seton Academy and fight Decade and his allies." The Mistress ordered as the two Riders bowed before taking their leave. The Mistress got up from her throne before opening a dark Aurora Curtain. "Now to prepare for the final test I have for Decade before battling him myself. Hakaru make sure to keep an eye on today's happenings while I go prepare the finishing touches." The Mistress said before entering the wall of black smoke, disappearing from the throne room.

At Seton Academy
Things have certainly been interesting since Makoto and Jin had returned from Remnant after helping Kyle Rivera and their other friends from across the multiverse defeat Darkness. Makoto and Jin caught up on their schoolwork, Makoto helped his girlfriend, nineteen year old Yang Xiao Long get settled in. The short haired blonde had gotten a job working for his mom, but since she wanted to stay close to him, she primarily works around Seton Academy fixing things in the school. He had also started teaching Yang basic sword fighting since there was no dust in their world. Mam and Ferryl had given Yang a few dirty looks, much to the young photographer's confusion.
              Jin and Ranka had been getting closer to the point the rest of the cooking club was trying to get them to hook up in their own unique way. Makoto leaned back in his chair at his desk in his dorm as he thought about everything that happened. "The Mistress and Hakaru haven't attacked in close to a month now! There's no way they've given up after Darkness's defeat, what are they up to?" Makoto thought to himself as a serious expression spread across his face. "Uh oh, you look like your trying to figure out the impossible again!" A bubbly female voice said with a giggle as Makoto turned to see a small white bat smiling at him.
