Aramina's POV

I yawned softly and looked around myself, feeling tired. No, I wasn't feeling tired because of whatever strange and painful things the Union had done with me that I never wanted to think about now. I had gotten over that exhaustion a week ago and had even started attending school. Somehow, I'd been able to tell that everyone else had just been somewhat concerned about what might have happened to me, except Mae, since she was literally the only one who took the trouble to come meet me.

It just made me more confident in my belief that Mae was my BFF without a doubt.

But ever since I'd got back to school, I'd had to catch up on a lot of the coloring activities and storytelling sessions I'd missed out on, which was again something that Mae helped me with, and then I also somehow got selected to play Elsa in our upcoming school play so for the last three days, my time had school had been even more grueling since all we were going to be doing until the day of the play was practice, practice and more practice.

At least Anna's role had gone to Mae. Destiny, right?

Then, after school, my human oppas and unnies would always insist that instead of going straight home from the bus stop, we first head over to the PC room since they missed me and wanted to have as much fun with me as possible. I found that really sweet of them, because I had missed them too, but at present, coming down to Friday, I was feeling absolutely beat.

"Are you alright?"

I looked up at Regis oppa who was sitting next to me and smiled weakly, before leaning back against the couch and yawning again.

"Looks like someone's sleepy."

I heard Yuna unnie say and shrugged sheepishly.

"Our school's become more twiring than usual cause of the upcoming plway."

I answered and glanced around the living room. Regis oppa and Seira unnie were sitting next to me on the couch while Suyi unnie and Yuna unnie were sitting on the floor at the adjacent head of the coffee table. Shinwoo oppa and Ik-Han oppa were sitting on the floor to be closer to the coffee table to enable them to devour all the delicious food (courtesy of Seira unnie) as quickly as possible, unlike Suyi unnie and Yuna unnie who were sitting on the floor to have easier access so they could eat politely instead of being.....well, Shinwoo oppa and Ik-Han oppa. Dad, as usual, was seated on the backless chair at the other head of the coffee table, looking more elegant and poised than ever, while Sir Rael was standing a few feet behind him like a guard on duty.

To be fair, he was a guard on duty. Auntie had personally sent Sir Rajak as a backup team for the team that was already here because of the rise of the Union attacks but since Sir Rael happened to be in the area at the time the last fight happened, he was currently a part of the backup team too.

My heart sunk a little at the thought of Auntie. I didn't know if Seira unnie or Sir Rajak had reported back to her and told her about my kidnapping, but I really wished they hadn't. I was terrified that if Auntie and Papa found out about what had happened here, they would forcibly drag me back to Lukedonia no matter how much I screamed and kicked and cried, and I didn't want that happen. There were still many years left until I had to take on the various responsibilities that came with being the heir of the Blerster clan. So until that day actually arrived, I wanted to stay in South Korea in peace.

Or at least as much peace as the Union would let me have.

I was still confused about what finally happened at the end of the month that I'd been imprisoned by them and why I was suddenly set free. In fact, whoever brought me back home even went as far as wrapping up my unconscious body in a blanket before leaving me on the porch of our house. Of course, what I did know was that two of the traitorous clan leaders, Urokai Agvine and Zarga Siriana, in league with Dr. Crombel, had been the culprits of the kidnapping. When I thought about it now, I realized that Urokai was the same clan leader whose eye Daddy had taken out the first time they had fought all those centuries ago in Lukedonia. They both were dead now, but only because Dad used his powers on them which made me worried about Dad's health, while there was still no news about Crombel. No matter how hard he had tried, all the experiments he had conducted on me had failed. And I didn't exactly understand why, but I did remember the conversation between Urokai and Zarga which they'd had when they'd come to see me in their lab for the first time.
