Running along the shore
crashing in the waves
togetherwhite bubbles
collecting at our feetcovered in sand
setting along the horizon
the sun is pinkThe water is warm
we swim
A small string of an indent
along the surface of the water
gets bigger as we go furtherunnoticed
we still go
the sharp rocks between our toesfurther
we cannot touch the ground any longerNo life guard
a peaceful kind of dangertogether
it didn't matter what happened
just that we were togetherBut what went unnoticed
came out of nowhereand you were ripped away from me
I screamed
So did you
nothing stopped the force of the tide
pulling you under
you took your last breaths
and you were gonenot together any longer.
but life went on
Without you.
