I wake up feeling so annoyed by the ray of sun entering from my window.

"Fuuuuck" I scream as I get up to close the curtain tightly.

I go back to bed and take the blanket, pass it over my back and over my head, and I lie down completely covered.

I'm not even hungover, I just want peace one day. I try to fall asleep again but whatever I do I can't.

My alarm starts to sound and I know it's too late to keep trying to fall asleep, this is my 1:00 PM emergency alarm.

Also my stomach creaks from the hunger that I have. I go downstairs to fix myself something to eat and I sit on the counter staring at nothing as I eat my avocado toast.

Again I have the house just for me, if I was not so tired I would take this opportunity to give me some love if you know what I mean.

But we can save that for another time, now my priority is a shower.

After doing both things at the speed of a turtle on crutches, I'm still on my towel on the bed looking at my phone... More than two hours have passed and I remember that I have to go help Maggie with her plants.

I dress casually and put on my most worn sneakers, the ones I usually wear to gardening.

I put sunscreen on all my visible parts, like my legs, arms and chest, and of course my face. After using it I bring the sunscreen closer and kiss it, "I love you boo" I say to it.

Don't fucking come for me, it's the best elixir of life and perfect skin.

I'm a little scared by the talk with Billie, I'm throwing myself to the lions just going to her house to help Maggie.

I wish I had said no and that we would never have this talk because I really felt bad after the other night. But my stupid ass always tries to be nice to people, and it would break my heart to leave her like that.

I know I can be very cold and hurtful, but this girl makes it very difficult for me.

I leave my house and walk towards the entrance of the neighbours, I knock on the door and a smiling Maggie greets me.

"Hi, Charlie! Come in sweetie" Maggie says, leaving me space to enter her house.

I ask her how she is and how her day has been. We chat for a while in the kitchen while she prepares lemonade to take outside. She informs me about the situation of some of the plants and I tell her some of the reasons why I think it could be happening.

We go outside and begin to inspect the plants one by one.

Maggie is the most adorable and caring person I have ever met, and talking to her about anything makes me feel very at peace.

"Look at this one, do you see how its stem grew so much? It's because it needs more light, we could leave it here" I take the plant and move it to the sector with more sun of her backyard, "With a good couple of sunny days it should be perfect"

"Oh my god, I never thought of that" She says, leaving her hands to her mouth.

"You just have to see the signals they give you and give them what they want" I giggle.

"You're so good at this, Charlie" She comes closer and gives me a side hug and my heart warms. "Thank you so much for this".

"You're so welcome. I like taking care of these babies" She laughs and then offers me something to eat.
