Life after the incident

Toby's P.O.V.

It's been two weeks since the incident. Spencer is recovering fast.She will sometimes catch me thinking about what I did and reminds me that I did the right thing. I believe her because I protected my family but I'm only human and still feel guilty.

It's 8:32 in the morning right now and I just cooked breakfast.

"Morning" spencer said yawning. she was wearing pink shorts and a tank top with her hair in a messy bun.

"Hey babe" I said smiling at her sleepiness. She walked up to me and I wrapped my arms around her waist and gave her a peck on the lips.

"Are you hungry?" I asked

"Starving" she said putting her hands over her stomach. I grabbed a plate and places two pancakes with bacon on the side. I then handed it to Spencer who then took a seat ate the end of the table. I filled my plate with two pancakes and a lot of bacon. I sat next to spencer who pulled me in for a long kiss.

"Baccoooon!!!" I heard Elana yell. Spencer and I quickly pulled away from one another.

"H-hey Sweetie." Spencer stuttered standing up to get Elana some food.

"Hi mommy" Elana said sweetly running over to me to climb into my lap.

"Elena doesn't want bacon!" I said teasingly to my little girl.

"Yes I do, I want bacon!" she said looking over at Spencer to make sure she didn't listen to me.

"Here you go." Spencer said laughing at Elana's worried face.

"Your going to sleep grandmas house today." Spencer said in between bites. It's Saturday and We are going to go to lunch with Emily and Alison. They have been together since Ali came back. We all gave Alison a second chance and she really has changed. She was really sorry about how she treated us and anyone with eyes can see she's madly in love with emily.

"Yay" Elana said running up the stairs to get ready. She loves going to see her grandma. I wish my mom was still her to see her grandchild grow up. She will never be able to hold or even see our little princess. I felt my eyes get watery just thinking about my mom. I got lost in my thoughts about my mom when spencer came up behind me. She rested her chin on my shoulder.

"Hey what are you thinking about? I can tell it's bothering you." she said placing her hands on the sides of my shoulder.

"Just my mom and how she won't be able to see our children grow up." I said sniffling and looking down at the ground. Spencer pulled out a chair next to me and stared at me.

"She will always be watching over us and our...children." she said more as a question about how I said children even though we only had one kid. I lifted my head up and reached for her hands. I gently held her hands and looked into her eyes.

"I want to have another kid with you Spenc. Do you want another kid?" I asked anxious to hear her answer.

"Toby I would love to have another kid with you." she said grinning.

Spencer's P.O.V.

"Toby I would love to have another kid with you." I said grinning. Toby cupped my face and kissed me with so much passion and need. I pulled away.

"Elena is still here. We need to clean up and get ready." I whispered. I hear Toby groan getting up and grabbing all the plates and putting it in the dish washer.

I walked downstairs wearing light blue denim jeans and a plain white flowey shirt. I see Toby at the bottom of the stairs struggling to put Elena's shoes on. He is wearing a denim button up shirt and black jeans with a pair of air Jordans.

"Daddddy! My foot feels weird." Elena complained

"Dang it. Here let me switch them." Toby said. I giggled at he's frustration.

"Are you almost ready?" I asked putting on my black converse.

"Yeah hang on one sec." he said taking off both of Elana's shoes and switching them.

"Okay let's go" Toby said grabbing mine and Elana's hand. I buckled Elana in her car seat and hoped into the passengers seat. Toby closed my door and walked to the drivers seat. We drove a little over 5 minutes to get to my moms house and dropped Elana off and went to the apple rose garden. Toby opened my door and placed his hand out. I took his hand and walked inside the restaurant with him with his hand around my waist.

"Oh they're over there." Toby said pointing to the right corner. I looked over and saw Emily and Alison sitting next to each other and Emily laughing at something Ali had said.

"Hey guys." Toby and I said in unison as we walked towards the table.

"Hey." Emily said

"Hey you two." Ali said looking up from gazing at Emily. I took a seat across from Emily and Toby sat across from Alison.

"So how is Elena?" Emily asked after we ordered our food.

"She's getting big and is pretty smart for her age." I said

"Well she is a Hasting." Ali said jokingly

"Cavanaugh." Toby corrected smiling.

"Well I hope one day Emily and I will have a child." Alison said making Emily blush.

"Yes and if it's a girl she will look like a Barbie just like you." Emily said earning a playful smack from Ali.

"Hey who says she's not going to have your pretty brown eyes?" Ali said smiling. After finishing our food and catching up with Ali and Em we went home. Elana is sleeping at my moms house so we will have the house to ourselves. Once we walked into the house and Toby closed the door I leaped into his arms. He was surprised at first but then cupped my butt to hold me up. I leaned in and kissed him. He kissed back harder. Our tongues fought for a few seconds then I finally gave in letting Toby's tongue roam my mouth. I let out a moan then felt Toby smile. He carried me upstairs laying me down on the bed. I pulled his shirt over his head and he took off his pants. he quickly planted a kiss on my lips then remove my shirt and bra. I slid my pants off leaving us both in our underwear. We made out of a couple more minutes letting our hands roam each other's body. Toby left trails of kisses from my neck to my hip and then slid my panties off. I reached and pulled down Toby's boxers. He lifted me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist. He hovered over me and went in and out of me slowly picking up speed. I bit my lip trying now to moan. He picks up his pace when he sees my face. I let out a moan earning a smile from him. We kisses me as we both release. Toby laid on his back and pulled me close to him.

"I love you." he whispered in my ear and closed his eyes.

"I love you too." I said falling asleep with a smile on my face.
