I flinched as I heard the gun fire. The ringing was still in my ear. I can't believe this. It replayed over and over in my head, the trigger being pulled and spencer falling to the ground, screaming in pain as a pool of blood formed around her. All happening at the same time as Colleen turning around running with my child whose screaming as well as her mom.

"SPENCER, ELANA!!!!" I cried out knowing their lives are in danger and could be over. I think of who to run to Elana growing farther and farther away from me or to my love of my life bleeding out right before my eyes?! I raced to Spencer on the floor, her eyes where slowly closing. She had been shot in her left shoulder. I took off my shirt and put pressure on her shoulder with it. I carried Spencer fast and carefully to the car and put her in the back seat. I couldn't see Colleen or Elana anywhere in sight. I hit the steering wheel with frustration. Spencer was still bleed out and fast. I started the car and had to have hope. Hope that I would find Elana and that she would be safe if I took Spencer to the hospital. But what would I say to the doctors or the police who would show up because I couldn't explain why there was a bullet in Spencer's shoulder. I thought about this on the way to the hospital looking back every 5 seconds to see if spencer would be fine. Of course she wouldn't be fine I thought! I thought to myself she has a freakin bullet in her shoulder. All of a sudden I saw lights flagging behind my. NO, NO, NO!! I thought. The cops pulled me over he came over to my window and I rolled it down.

"Do you kn-" "I'm sorry I know I was going over the speed limit but my girlfriend got shot and I'm driving her to the hospital right now." I said cutting the officer off. The cop looked at my shocked.

"HERE FOLLOW ME!" He said as he ran to his car. He turned on this siren and drove in front of me. We flew down the road. I was going faster than I would ever think I would. I looked back to find blood soaking the back seat. I slammed on the gas petal and reached back to grab Spencer's limped hand. It was cold. I turned on the heater not knowing of it was going to help. We finally pulled up to the hospital after it felt like forever.
