Hayes' POV

It's been a week after the funeral and Brook seems fine. She's back to that strong girl image that she's known for...

That kiss... I've never felt that way before. With all of my girlfriends... I've never felt that way when I kissed them. It felt like we were... made for each other.

"Hey Hayes! Do you want to go watch a movie?" Brook says walking downstairs.

"Yea sure. Just let me go get dressed. " I said looking down at my self. I still had on my pjs...

I ran upstairs to go change. I slipped of my pjs, and put on my grey "obey" shirt with a pair of khakis. I put on my grey vans and walked downstairs.

"Where's Brook?" I asked

"She said she had to leave, but she would call you!" My mom said from her room.

Why did she have to leave??

Brook's POV

Hayes went to go get ready upstairs. I sat down in the couch and started to watch tv. I was watching spongebob when my phone vibrated.

Well is was going with hayes to the movies....

Well there goes my plans! I got up of the couch and went to Mrs. Elizabeth and Johnny's room.

"Can you tell Hayes I have to leave. I'll call him later?" I asked

"Yea sure sweetie!"

I walked out the house and walked to movie theater. I got there after 5 mins.

Well damn! Rude much! I walked inside and saw my mom on the couch. She explained to me that she was going on a business trip for a week and that she needed me to watch Rhett. Her flight left tonight

I started walking. I don't know where! But I started walking. I was so mad at her. Why didn't she tell me sooner that she was leaving? Once I finally stopped, I was at the park. I walked over to the swings. I saw a familiar figure at one of the swings.

"Hayes?" I asked walking over to the swings. He shot his head up and looked back down.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing. Just thinking, that's all"

"Come on! I know when your lying!"

"Ok fine! Did you feel anything when we kissed?" Hayes asked me. Wait did he feel something too?

"Um. Yea... did you?"

"Yea" he said blushing.

I sat down and turned to look at him. But the thing was... He was already staring at me...

I'm sooo sorry about all the short chapters! I've been really busy! Dance competition is this Saturday and I've been In my dance studio everyday last week and this week too!

I promise after this competition I will update longer chapters!!
