Chapter 10

Nashs POV
I have to tell Hayes. I don't want to see him get hurt. Ashley is just using him and Chase.

Chase has no idea that Ashley is dating Hayes. It's also the other way around. Hayes needs to know that Ashley is just going to break him.

"Hey Hayes! Come here real quick. " I say to Hayes through my room.

He kinda checked around the room to make sure something was there or not there. Weird.....

"Yea?"

"Listen. Ashley is cheating on you. "

"NO SHES NOT!"

"Bro. I have proof."

"Show me then."

"Brook and Chase were texting and Chase sent her this.... Bro I'm sorry. "

He read the screenshotted messages and had hurt and betrayal in his eyes when he looked at me.

"Is this real?" He asked. You could tell he was hurting.

"Yea... I'm sorry me and Brook just thought you should know..."

He just nodded and went into his room. I feel so bad. But I know he will find the right girl someday.

Hayes' POV

I can't believe Ashley did that to me.
Damn, I just feel so... alone. I feel hurt. I shouldn't have did what I did to Brook. I have to Apologize.

"To Nash I'll be right back."

"Ok"

I started walking to Brook's house.
I knocked on her door. Rhett opened it.

"Hey bro! I haven't seen you in forever."

I would imagine your never here.....

"I know. It's been to long! Do you know where Brook is?" I asked

"She's at dance. She won't be home till 7"

Damn. It's 12

"Oh ok. Well I gotta go. See you later. Hey... text me we need to hangout. "I told him. He nodded in agreement.

I started to head home. I wanted to apologize to Brook right now. So I turned back around and headed to her dance studio.

I opened the door to the studio. When I walked into the studio I asked for Brook.

"Studio 7" the lady at the front desk said.

Makes sense. Mine and Brooks favorite number is seven. I walked over to studio seven and walked in. It was just Brook. The song "Warrior" came on and she started dancing.

It's times like these were I wonder, what would this summer be like if we never meet the Johnson's?? I would probably still be with Ashley and not knowing she was cheating on me...

Brooks POV

I was at my dance studio because I needed a break. All of this Hayes drama is getting me stressed. Dance is my getaway place. When I dance, my heart speaks.

I started to run the number in my head. I was dancing to "Warrior" by Demi Lovato for our competition in 2 weeks. I was a 3 time state dance champion. I told you dance was my passion.

The music started to play and I danced with my heart, not my feet. I let the music take control of me. Before I knew it the song was over. Then I heard clapping.

"Good job. I think your ready!" Hayes tells me. Why is he here.

I just ignored him like he did to me and put on my duet song, "thinking out loud. " I was doing the duet with my friend, Trevor. He is an amazing dancer.

"Look, I'm sorry. I really am!!" Hayes says to me. When I looked into his eyes, you could tell he was genuinely sorry.

I walked up to him and hugged him. He was shocked at first, but he gave me the best hug any girl could have. We let go and I asked the question.

"Why? Why were you acting like a complete stranger to me?"

"Ashley told me if I wanted to date her I would have to stop talking or hanging out with you. "He explained. I wasn't mad. He thought Ashley was the one. I would do anything to make the guy I thought was the one happy.

I nodded and turned off the music. I just started to re-read through the steps of the duet in my head. After that I put all the notes back into the folder and started to put away my lyrical shoes in my bag and turned of the lights. I waited for Hayes to walk out. After that I locked it and started to head to my house.

We started to catch up on things, because, well you know. We started to talk about football and dance.

These are the times I've missed.....
