The mystery bodies

Chapter 10

"What do we do?" asked Oliver.

"Ooh! I know. What if we banged really hard on their door, hard enough to make them get out of bed, run back to our rooms and pretend we're sleeping?" said Isabelle.

"Kinda lame, but I don't see anything better for now". said Leona. They sneaked to the door, and all 4 of them knocked on the door loudly, and ran back to their beds. Sure enough, Mia and Aiden were up, and looked in the rooms.

"Wait, but if Leona and Noah are sleeping, and if Oliver and Isabelle are sleeping, who tf was that?" whispered Mia. 

"I don't know! Let's just go back and we'll see if it happens again". Aiden whispered back. They went back to their bed and were at it again. Soon enough, the 4 of them met up in the living room. 

"Aight, so. I have a MUCH better idea. What if one of us, say Izzy, put on like a black sheet over her head, pretending to be like an evil shadow or something, and when they come out to see what it is and check the rooms, Oliver will stuff Izzy's side of the bed with pillows to make it look like she's there and then the rest of us will be in bed". said Leona.

"Awesome!" said Noah, and Oliver and Isabelle totally agreed. Isabelle pulled a black sheet over her, and looked exactly like a shadow. They agreed that she would knock on Mia and Aiden's door, and sit on the couch, still with her cover. Since it's dark, Mia and Aiden would see a subtle shadow, and it would be perfect. 

"Iz, you ready?" Leona asked. Isabelle nodded and Leona put the black sheet over her head. Leona carefully sat Isabelle down on the couch, Oliver and Noah ran to their beds, and then Leona knocked on their door, gently this time, and ran back to the bed. Oliver had gotten into bed, and stuffed his left side with some pillows and a blond wig, to make it look like Isabelle was sleeping there. A couple minutes later, Mia and Aiden got out of their room and looked around. As planned, they first saw a subtle black shadow, which was Isabelle, who slightly moved to scare them.

"Did you see something over there?" whispered Mia to Aiden, pointing at Isabelle.

"Yeah, it moved, but it's probably one of them trying to scare us, don't worry. I bet one of them isn't in the bed". Aiden said, walking to Leona and Noah's room.

"Both of them are in here, which means either Oliver or Izzy isn't in bed". said Mia. They walked to Oliver and Isabelle's room.

"Uh. Oliver is there, and so is Izzy!" said Mia, panicking.

"Oh shit, I see Izzy's blond hair and Oliver's brown hair. We're dead". said Aiden.

"So that was actually a ghost?" asked Mia.

"Maybe, let's just go back to our room". said Aiden, taking her hand. On their way back, they passed the living room.

"BOOOOOOOOO!" yelled Isabelle, jumping at them.

"AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" yelled Mia.

"IZ WTF YOU SCARED US!" yelled Aiden. Leona, Noah and Oliver came out of their rooms.

"BAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHH". laughed Leona, then joined by Noah and Oliver. 

"Oh come on!" said Mia, pissed, but laughing. 

"Did you guys pull an all nighter?" asked Aiden, looking at the time which was 6:30 am.

"Yep". said Oliver. 

"Since it's already 6:30, how about y'all get dressed and we go down to breakfast?" asked Isabelle.

"Yeah sure". Leona said, and they all went to get ready. At 7 am, everyone was ready to head down. They took the elevator and went down to the open buffet. 

"WOW". said Leona, looking at all the food. Everybody took a plate and scooped some food. When they all went back to the table, they looked at each other's plate. Leona had chocolate chip waffles with blueberry compote and maple syrup, Isabelle had scrambled eggs with hashbrowns and bacon, Mia had a croissant with butter and berries, Aiden had froot loops, Noah had blueberry pancakes with strawberries and maple syrup, and finally Oliver had a ham omelette with hashbrowns. They ate and went back up to their room. 

"Hmmmm, music and reading?" Oliver proposed.

"Yeah, sure!" said Mia. They then all sat down on the couch and blasted some music and read. About 10 minutes in, Leona decided to break the beautiful silence.

"Hey look, that's the window we watched fuck from". she said, pointing to the large glass window that was in Mia and Aiden's room.

"HEY!" said Mia, play-slapping her. Leona laughed. Their days continued like this for another week. Summer break had got off to a rough start, but if it weren't for the ogre chaos, they would have never stayed in this awesome 5-star hotel!
