"So, a-" Sid was interrupted by a loud squeal. He looked over and noticed a very embarrassed Johnny standing next to Natalie, who was grinning. What the hell is she squealing about? Sid wondered. He guessed that the others heard it too, because they looked at each other in confusion. "What the hell is she so excited about?" asked Paul. "I dunno. Let's go find out." said Steve. The three of them headed over to Johnny and Natalie.
Johnny looked up and saw Sid, Steve, and Paul walking towards them. "Damn it Natalie" he complained. "What?" She looked up. "Oh shit. Sorry" she apologized. Johnny rolled his eyes. "Whatever" he muttered. "What was that all about?" asked Sid. Fuck, fuck, fuck thought Johnny. He glared at Natalie as if to say, You got us into this mess, now get us out.
"Um.... Johnny was just telling me about the new dog he got!" she lied.
"Oh" said Paul, clearly not convinced. Sid's eyes lit up. "Can I see it?" he asked excitedly. "Maybe tomorrow. It's had a long day. You can help me decide on a name." I fuckin' hate you Johnny mouthed to Natalie. She just shrugged her shoulders. Talk about it later she mouthed back.
*Time skip*
"Well shit, now I have to get a fucking dog and I have no money" Johnny sighed unhappily. "I'll pay for it. I got you into this mess in the first place." Natalie said. Johnny looked up at her. He smiled. "Thanks" he told her. She smiled back. "Come on. Let's go get you a dog." The two walked to the nearest pet store.
*Time skip again (sorry)*
"Nat, look at this one!" said Johnny happily. Natalie walked over and saw a small black puppy. "Can we get it?" Johnny asked her, his eyes gleaming. Natalie smiled. Johnny acted like a tough punk, but he really was a kind man with a soft heart. "Ok" she said. Johnny grinned and picked up the puppy. It licked his face. He laughed. They paid for the puppy, a bag of puppy food, and some dog toys, and walked out. Natalie had only seen Johnny this happy a few times.
On the way back to Johnny's flat, he noticed a woman walk by them. It was Nancy. He smirked at looked over at Natalie, who had noticed Nancy and was blushing. "You wanna try talking to her?" Johnny asked Natalie. "Um n-no" she stuttered. Johnny nodded, understanding.
They got to Johnny's flat. "Bye Johnny" said Natalie. "Bye Natalie"Johnny told her. He walked in and sat down on the couch. The puppy jumped up next to him. Johnny smiled. As he pet the small puppy, he wondered how long he could keep his crush on Sid a secret.
