Alright I totally didn't write this for English class what no way

Marvin drove into the camp site that his family was going to stay at. He was sitting in the back seat looking around at the scenery. He saw a lake near the cabin that they were going to be staying at. They got out of the car after it pulled to a stop. Marvin was sitting right next to his bag so he grabbed it and helped his parents with the rest of their bags. They headed into the cabin. Marvin looked around and put his bags down.

They got settled in and spent the rest of the day hanging out with his mom and dad. He wasn't really having a whole lot of fun though. They mostly just walked around outside until it started to get late. Once his parents started to get ready to go to bed Marvin wasn't tired at all. He sat outside on the little porch as some misquotes tried to bite at his arms. He sighed and rested his head in his hands then he saw the lake again. He looked into their cabin to make sure that his parents weren't looking towards him before going to go see the lake.

Once he started walking there he noticed that it looked like someone else was there. Marvin was debating if he should just head back but then he noticed that the person that was there looked like he was about the same age as marvin. He decided against heading back and kept walking. The boy was sitting on a piece of what looked like a fallen down tree. He didn't notice Marvin yet until Marvin ended up stepping on a branch and it snapped in half. The boy jumped a bit before looking over at marvin. He had wavy brown hair, slightly tanned skin and brown eyes that were hidden behind brown vintage glasses. "Hi?" marvin said awkwardly. "Hi" the boy said back. "Can i sit with you?" he asked and he nodded before moving over on the log. Marvin sat down beside him "why are you out here all by yourself?" marvin asked then looked at him. The boy looked at him "i could ask you the same question you know" he chuckled, marvin chuckled too. "Fair enough, but you seem like you've been out here for a while" Marvin looked at the little lake, it was dark out and the moon rippled on the water. The boy looked at the lake too. "What makes you say that?" He didn't look at marvin. Marvin just shrugged "I don't know". The boy sighed then looked over at marvin, marvin looked back at him. "Promise you won't tell anyone if I tell you?" he said, his voice quieter. "Yea?" marvin was a little curious why he asked that. The boy just looked back at the lake with marvin still looking at him. "...i don't think i like girls" he said quietly trusting that marvin wouldn't say anything against him. Marvin just shrugged "me neither, girls are weird and kinda annoying" he looked out at the lake again, not quite understanding what he meant. The boy looked at him "what- no- that's not-" he stammered. Marvin looked at him. "Huh?" marvin tilted his head a bit to the side. "That- that's not what I meant" he looked at him and Marvin looked back at him clueless.

Marvin just looked at him "uhhhh, then what do you mean?... OH" it finally clicked for marvin. He put his hands over his mouth and sat up a bit straighter. "Oh my god im sorry-" marvin spoke with his hands over his mouth still. The boy barely smiled and looked at some trees. Marvin looked at him, the moon light lighting up his features. Marvin just looked at him and took his hands off his mouth. He didn't really notice before how cute the boy was. "I don't know how to tell my parents... if I even should... my moms pretty cristain and my dad... my dad's jewish" marvin still looked at him. "My family is jewish" marvin said not really sure what to say. "Is there anything in the torah thats against gay people?" whizzer asked. Marvin shrugged "i don't think so" Marvin wasn't exactly sure but he didn't think so. The boy looked back at the lake "I don't think that he would make a big deal out of it though, since we're pretty close... i hope that he doesn't make a big deal out of it" he looked down. Marvin looked at him

"well if you are i don't care" he said and the boy looked at him. "Really?" marvin smiled "yea" the boy grinned and hugged him. "Thank you" he mumbled into his shoulder. Marvin was taken back at first so he didnt hug him back at first. Marvin put his arm around him. He found the boy surprisingly warm since it was kind of cold out. Marvin put his head on his shoulder, he waited for the boy to let go first since he didnt know how long he needed a hug. Marvin realized that he didnt know his name, he looked at the boy but didnt let go of him. "I never caught your name" marvin said softly. The boy let go. "Im whizzer" he looked at him. "Im marvin" he smiled. "Whizzer... hmm thats a weird name, what does it mean?" marvin asked and whizzer just looked at him. "I dont even know" they laughed together.
