One hour more, that's all Marvin wanted. He wanted to hold his now deceased boyfriend for one hour more, he never got to say his goodbyes. He always shook them off and now it was too late, all too late.

Marvin felt numb, it had been a week since his lover, Whizzer has passed away from a new and unknown disease they nicknamed 'Gay Cancer'. The week has been a very, very long and hard week. Just before Marvin thought it couldn't get any worse of a week, Whizzers funeral had rolled around the corner and Marvin was unsure if he wanted to go. But he had too, he needed to be there for his son, Jason who pretty much lost one of his fathers. He was really torn up about it. You see it was at Jason's bar mitzvah where Whizzer took his last breaths.

Marvin was sitting in the front row with his son sitting beside him and his ex-wife, Trina, and her lover, also Marvin's psychiatrist, Mendel. On Marvin's other side was Whizzers best friend, Nancy and on the other side of Nancy was the lesbians, Charlotte and Cordelia. Charlotte seemed really, really hurt. You see, what Marvin didn't know is that Charlotte was blaming herself for Whizzers death, she felt like she just let him die even though she did the best she could do, and plus this is a new virus that they didn't know much about so it's not like she had many options.

Jason was silently sobbing, there were tears rolling down his face but he tried his best at not to make any noise. Marvin looked over to his son and just noticed that he was crying. Jason looked over to him, his eyes red from crying. Marvin smiled reassuringly the best he could, Jason read the look it felt nice that his father was trying to make him feel better even though he knew his father was going through more then him, Jason knew how much Marvin loved Whizzer, he could tell when his father first introduced him to Whizzer. Jason hugged Marvin tightly and shoved his face into his chest, he quietly sobbed. Marvin rubbed his back and tried to listen to the funeral.

Nancy looked over to them, she had tears in her eyes. She really missed her best friend but she knew what she was going through was nothing compared to Marvin and Jason. She wiped the tears from her eyes but they kept coming back, she let out a shaky breath and looked up at Whizzer coffin. There were red and white flowers neatly wrapped up and placed on the coffin, roses.

Soon enough it was Whizzers parents, Kathryn and David's turn to go up and make a little speech. That made Marvin realize that it was his turn next. His parents went up to the podium with Kathryn holding onto David. Marvin let some tears go down his cheeks, he felt to bad for them, it's any parents worst nightmare to have to bury their own child, Marvin knew how much his parents loved their son even if Kathryn wasn't too supportive about him and Whizzer being together at first but David somehow managed to get her to accept him for who he was.

David let out a shaky breath before speaking. "As you all know, our son Whizzer was a bright young man who always knew how to cheer someone up or make you laugh" He sniffed "Our worlds are never be the same without him" he chuckled softly "We didn't prepare much of a speech... but one thing is, is that we are really going to miss is all of the amazing memories he gave us. Like this one time I think he was in primary school at the time, i remember he came running home to us, he was all excited and he told us that he had a 'boyfriend'.... and just the smile on his face from him being so happy just... I-it brings tears to my eyes that... that... h-he didn't deserve to go..." David started to cry more. Kathryn looked tired from crying as she held him. "I'm sorry" he choked out and then went back to their seats.
