All of the group except Phoebe were gathered in the hospital waiting room. Carol, Ross' ex-wife had gone into labour and the group were waiting for her to arrive.

"She's not here yet. She not here." Ross said while panicking. "She's having my baby and she's not here."

Monica stood up from her chair to try and comfort her brother. "I'm sure everything's fine. Has her water broken yet?"

"I don't know, but when i spoke to her she said she'd already passed the mucus plug." He replied.

Ashley had been resting her head on Joey's shoulder while he held some tissues, but when he heard what Carol was going through he immediately made disgusted noises and got up from his seat.

"Do we have to know about that?" Joey asked.

"Joey, what are you gonna do when you have baby?" Ashley asked him while Ross ran out of the room still looking for his ex-wife.

"I'm gonna be in the waiting room, handing out cigars."

"Yes, Joey's made arrangements to have his baby in a movie from the '50's." Chandler joked.

"Okay. Mental note, Joey will not be the father of my baby." Ashley said.

Ross came running back to the waiting room flailing his arms about. "I don't believe this. I mean she could be giving birth in the cab."

"Oh, Ross, relax, it's probably like two dollars for the first contraction and then 50 cents for each additional contract..." Rachel joked but stopped when nobody was laughing. What, it's okay when chandler does it?" She asked.

"You have to pick your moments." Chandler explained.

Phoebe who was late to the hospital room ran in shouting "Hi. Did I miss it? Did I miss it?"

"No, she's not even here yet." Ross sulked.

"What's with the guitar?" Monica asked her.

"Well, I just thought we might be here for a while so you know, things might get musical." Phoebe explained.

Soon after Carol came into the same room as the group on a wheelchair.

"Oh, my God! Where the hell have you been?" Ross asked.

"Oh, we stopped at the gift shop. I was looking at stuffed animals and Susan wanted a chunky." Carol replied.
