dim the lights and light some candles. choose some candles like lavender for a relaxing scent.

leave behind your electronics! try not to use your phone, computer, or any other tablet. just try to relax instead!

↝ drink:
if you're a tea drinker like me, prepare some nice tea for yourself! tea always makes me feel nice and warm. if you don't like tea, mix some honey and lemon with hot water. it will make you feel good while cleansing your body.

↝ bath:
set up your bath exactly the way you like it. add bath bombs, rose petals, oils or just plain old bubbles. make sure the water is nice and hot. add a waterproof pillow to rest on (optional).

↝ diy treatments:
there are countless diys for beauty! get the spa experience at home. try out diy face masks!

↝ eyes:
place cucumbers on your eyes while you are soaking in the tub or enjoying a mask. not only are they refreshing for your eyes, they come loaded with skin benefits.

↝ towels:
there is nothing better than a cozy, fluffy towel. throw you favorite towel in the dryer for 10 minutes, by the time your finished it will be nice & warm.

↝ robe:
one of my favorite things at the spa is putting on a soft robe at the end of the treatments. make sure to have one available and throw it in at the end to keep the relaxing vibe going.

↝ reading:
if you love to read, make it a part of your spa night. either grab some of your favorite magazines or your newest book and settle in.

↝ nails:
give yourself a manicure and a pedicure! it's totally fun and a great addition to your "spa"!(;
