stella didn't expect marcel and davina to be sat on the couch as she walked in along with dawn who smiled sadly at her bubbly sister who just entered the room. she dropped her bags and ran towards them engulfing them in a group hug.
"not that im not happy to see you but i thought you would only come and find me if something happened" stella broke the solemn silence
"stella something did happen. ace went back to new orleans and klaus caught him and--- and killed him" davina told stella -dawn already knowing what happened-
"no no he didn't my--my powers would've known luca--luca told me my powers would help me save my loved ones your lying" the tears streamed down her face and on queue luca came -out of absolutely nowhere- and hugged her
"i tried to stop him but i couldn't not even when hayley told him that ace was the key to finding you. but he's catching on fast and we need to move you we can't risk him finding both of you"
"marcel i dont think moving would be the best idea we have a home here, friends here, a happy-ish life here. dawn spoke out tears spilling from her hazel eyes.
"she's right as soon as that son of a bitch steps foot in our town me and dawn will put him in his place together" a waterfall of tears still cascaded down her face
"together" dawn nodded as she walked over to luca and stella joining their hug davina and marcel slowly approaching them too
after they all parted davina and marcel said their goodbyes not wanting to put the girls in danger by staying any longer and left the 3 teens behind
"stella love lets get some rest ok im going to take you up now" luca spoke taking her hand in his and quicky hugging dawn and whispering something in her ear earning a slight nod back before taking her up to her room
after helping the numb teen into bed he left going back to dawn and started talking and soon after the 2 of them were in bed and the house was full only it still felt empty

stiles tried to call stella for the 100th time but no answer with a fustrated groan he made his way to ms. morrell's office
"you know when you're drowning, you don't actually inhale until right before you black out. It's called voluntary apnea. It's like no matter how much you're freaking out, the instinct to not let any water in is so strong that you won't open your mouth until you feel like your head's exploding. But then when you finally do let it in, that's when it stops hurting. It's not scary anymore. It's - it's actually kind of peaceful."
