As I quickly try to get up off of them, apologizing in embarrassment, the body under me yells at me. "What the hell?! Get off me you extra!" Realizing it's Bakugo and that he's the one who grabbed me, I'm no longer embarrassed but now angry. As I stand up, I yell back at him, "If you wouldn't have just grabbed and pulled me all of a sudden, this wouldn't have happened!" He then stands up as I cross my arms and glare at him, obviously annoyed.

When he doesn't say anything, just glares back at me, I shrug then start to turn around to walk away. Not having learned from just a moment ago, Bakugo grabs me again and pulls me into him. This time though we are both prepared for it, so instead of on top of him on the ground, I'm shoved into his chest. Quickly becoming aware of how rock hard his chest is and how he faintly smells like caramel, I'm torn between being pissed off and flustered. Before I can react, Bakugo pushes me back a bit so that we are still close but face to face now, faces just inches apart. "Fight me!", He yells in my face. I blinked a few times to clear my mind while I asked confused by the sudden declaration, "What?"

"Fight me, dumbass!"

"But, why?"

"To prove to you and everyone else that I'm the best! I know I'm the best, now you all need to realize it, too!"

"Then you should fight whoever is in first, not me. I'm only in third."

"I will fight them! But I'm going to fight you first. Right here, right now!"

"What? No. We are both tired from today. Plus I'm not about to get in trouble over something so stupid."

"It's not stupid!!!"

In response, I just shrug out of his hold on my upper arms, then turn around and walk away. I make sure this time to side step, knowing he will try to grab me again. As he goes to grab me, he yells "Fight me, dumbass!" Because I stepped to the side in time, he stumbled forward a bit. I try not to laugh, but a smirk still makes its way to my face. Bakugo sees this and gets so mad he sets off explosions in his hands. This takes me by surprise a bit, even though I know his quirk. As I keep walking, I turn to face him, smirk now off my face, he comes charging at me. I can't react in time, so he manages to tackle me to the ground. With him now extremely pissed off and on top holding me down, I do become a bit scared. I try not to let it show, but he still must have seen it in my eyes because he makes a 'tch' sound and quickly gets up. Once he's up, much to my surprise, he offers me his hands to help me up. I look up at him in surprise but quickly take his hands before he can change his mind. Once I'm on my feet, he pulls me into him again. Getting in my face he says to me, "I'm going to fight you. Tomorrow. After school. Right here. No excuses. Got it?" As I'm standing so close to him in shock, all I can do is nod. He must take this as a good enough answer because he lets me go and starts to walk away, back to the school to change.

Left confused and a bit dumbfounded, I just stare at him as he walks away. Once he's back into the school, I grab my jacket and quickly head inside. As I reach the locker room, Mina is the only girl left, but she's already completely changed.

"Where have you been?!" Mina yells when she sees me enter the locker room.

"Bakugo wanted to talk," I comment as I try to shrug it off like it's no big deal. I really don't want anyone else knowing about our fight for some reason.

"Bakugo? The hot head? Key word hot, though," she says as she gives me a suggestive look. "What did he want?" she continues without waiting for me to react to the last comment.

I just shrug and say, "nothing important, really. Just mad I beat him." Trying to get her to drop the topic, I quickly ask her, "Why are you still here? Did you wait for me?"

"I know you're hiding something, but I'll play along," she replies with a bit of sass to let me know she's not done with the topic. "Yeah, of course I waited for you. We noticed you didn't come right back to the locker rooms to change, so I told the others I would wait for you. If you didn't come back when you did, I was about to come out to check up on you."

"Aww, thank you! You really don't have to worry about me though. I can't take care of myself," I say with a smile to try to convince her that everything's okay, even though I'm secretly worried about my fight with Bakugou tomorrow.

"But still," she says as she gives me a hug now that I'm done changing and just putting my shoes on. "Now back to Bakugou!"

I can't help but groan in protest, which she clearly just ignores. With her arm holding mine as we walk out of the locker rooms, she demands, "Tell me what happened! Tell me everything, and don't lie to me!"

As I fight with myself on whether or not to talk to her about it, I can only sigh out loud and bite my lower lip. Unfortunately, Mina takes this the wrong way.

"NO! NO WAY!" Mina gasps as she suddenly stops in her tracks. "Are you two together?!"

Confused and slightly panicked as to how she got to this idea, I looked at her wide eyed and replied, "What?! NO! I just met him today! No, we are not together!"

"Then tell me what's going on!"

I can't help but sigh again, but I do end up telling her, "He wants to fight me. He wants to prove he's better than me, so he wants to fight me."

"Wait. Really fight you? Or is this just an excuse to get you alone?"

"What do you mean by that?" I say as I look at her completely confused now with her train of thought.

"Well, maybe he DOES like you and just wants to spend time with you!"

I can't hold back the sudden snort that comes from me as I try not to laugh. "Girl, you seriously need a boyfriend or something. There's no way Bakugo wants anything more than to actually fight me. Trust me."

"Girl, don't I know it! But none of the guys here are catching my eye. Anyway! This is about you and Bakugo, not me!"

"There is no 'Bakugou and me', Mina. Just leave it be. He just wants to fight. That's it."

"Fine. When does he wanna fight? And I take it you actually are gonna fight him?"

"I don't really want to because I don't want to get into trouble, but it's much better not to make an enemy out of that guy. And we are gonna fight tomorrow after school. Don't tell anyone, though! I don't want anyone to know!"

"Okay, okay. Fine. I promise!"

With that, Mina and I had to head off into different directions to head home. I waved goodbye to her as I reached into my pocket to get out my phone and earbuds. I put one in my ear and listen to music as I walk the rest of the way home. I don't live too far from UA, thankfully, but the walk is still nice to have. Back home, I always took a school bus to school and back home, so walking a bit is a nice change.

Once I get home, I immediately change out of my uniform and into something much more comfy. I head to the kitchen to start cooking dinner, but I can't decide on anything, so I just end up having leftovers from last night's dinner. Being alone in my own place is nice, but right at this moment I wish I could share my day with my parents. Because of the time difference and me not knowing if they're working or not, I don't call them but wait for them to call me instead. After I finish eating and thinking to myself about the day, I decide to just head up to bed to read. Without realizing it, I was much more tired than I thought because I don't even finish one chapter before I fall asleep while reading.
