Chapter 15

Marcus and I made up but I still didn't want to stay over so I asked Tyler and Connor if we could have a sleepover. They said absolutely because we haven't seen each other in forever kind of. For the past few hours we've been watching movies and chatting and having some laughs. Well, a lot of laughs but then the laughter stopped when I knew Connor was going to ask me something about what happened.
"I know there is a background story, and I would kind of like to know." Connor said.
"I rather not. It's a secret that I rather not tell." I told him.
"Ok, how bout if you tell me yours then I'll tell both of you my secret that I've been keeping for way too long." Connor said. They both looked at me.
"Alright fine. In high school I had my first boyfriend. He was a grade above me but even when he did go to college, we were still as close as ever because he was only an hour away. I went to the same college as him and our friends called us one of those perfect movie couples. It literally seemed like that. We would go out to either dinner or a party every weekend. One time I caught him kissing another girl. So I left him. Then for the whole next week he would say I'm sorry, she kissed me. He would send me flowers, chocolates, and even apology letters. Then on a Friday night he knocked on my door and apologized straight to me. I forgave him and we moved on with our relationship. Not many weeks later he went out with his friends on a Saturday night because I wasn't feeling well and I also had to study. At around eleven at night one of our friends knocked on my door. He was definitely drinking but he told me that Chris, my boyfriend, was hit by a car and is in the hospital. For the next month I would visit him as much as I could. But one day during English my professor got a call. He called me to the front of the classroom to talk to him. He told me quietly that Chris passed away. After that day I said to myself that I would never fall in love again." I started to tear up.
"Oh my goodness. I'm so sorry Trish." Tyler gave me a hug and so did Connor.
"Don't be sorry for something you didn't do. But that's also another reason why I made a channel. I was hoping that I would be able to sort of forget it and try to move on from it. And so far it has; until now." I told them.
"Trish, you will always have us if you need anything or someone to talk to." Connor said.
"Thanks but um, it's your turn." Tyler and I both looked at Connor.
"Alright I don't know how to tell you guys though because I've never told anyone this yet. I guess I'll just get right to it. So, I'm gay." Connor said.
"What?" Tyler and I were both shocked.
"I've been hiding it for years and I couldn't hold it in any longer. I needed to tell someone. But there you go. There is my big secret." Connor said.
"We're so proud of you. You are so strong and it takes guts to say that no matter who it is to." I told him as Tyler and I hugged him.
