YouTube & I

Chapter 6

Seven months have pasted by and today I am graduating college! My YouTube videos have mainly just been me but I did do a collab with Connor Franta over spring break and that was amazing! I now have just over three million subscribers. I freaked out when I saw that. Tyler actually called me to check it because I didn't even know that I had two million subscribers yet. But in a few days from today I am going to England! I'm gonna meet Marcus and Alfie and Caspar and Zoe. This is amazing!
Right now I'm actually sitting down during the graduation ceremony. I've already gotten up to get my degree. C'mon! I need to start packing!
"Congratulations Class of 2014!" Then everyone cheered and threw their caps in the air.

About an hour later I was outside with my family. Getting hugs and kisses from them. My sister kept taking photos and I keep telling her to stop.
"Trish, we brought you a graduation gift." My mom told me.
"What?" I questioned with a smile.
"Turn around." My mom told me. I'm so confused. But when I turned around I couldn't stop crying. My brother was walking over to me and he gave me a big hug.
"Congrats Trish." He said as he was still giving me a hug.
"I've missed you so much." I mumbled as I was crying.
"I know. I saw your video." He told me and I let go of him.
"You watch my videos? When?" I asked.
"About a month and a half ago mom called me to check the video. Now I had two days of wifi and I didn't want to waste it so once I could watch it, I did. Then I talked to some people and talked to mom, I came home. But I'm going back in two days. I heard that you're going to England though."
"Yeah, I'm going to meet some other youtubers and shoot some videos." I smiled as I wiped away tears.
"Well come on. Let's go home. I have a surprise for you. Actually we have a surprise for you." He told me.

Several hours later we finally arrived back home. It feels so good to be home. I can already tell that I have some family here. So I know there is a small party tonight. I walked into the house and my family shouted congratulations. I smiled so big. I went around giving everyone a hug. I wanna change though. Something more casual and comfortable.
"I'm gonna go get changed." I told my mom.
I went downstairs because that is where my room was. I still left some clothing here. I like coming home to see my parents every once in a while. I leave my apartment for like a week to see my parents so I always make sure I have clothes here. I walked into my room.
"Hey!" Tyler was standing in my room. I gave a huge smile and gave him a big hug.
"I can't believe you're here." I said and stopped hugging him.
"Yeah but congrats girl! Now I want a drink with you tonight. Something of your choice though." He said.
"Sorry Tyler but I don't drink. I never have and I don't really want to." I told him.
"Alright but when we go to England you'll probably get forced to drink by someone. Just sayin'." He said.
"Can I just get changed?" I asked.
"Of course. I'll see you upstairs." He walked out of my room and I shut the door.
I sat down on my bed. I did it. I graduated college and I'm officially done with school. Now I'm going to start questioning if I should have my full career being YouTube or should I actually continue what I started in college; which would be hospitality. Hopefully when I go to England, I'll make my decision if I'll continue with YouTube or have a different career. If I talk about this now, Tyler will do everything to keep me as a youtuber. I don't want my graduation party being like that. I'll ask him another time.
