Chapter 5

School has already started and it's already November! It's crazy! I'm doing videos on the weekends and I did start a vlog channel. A lot of people seem to love it. I walk around my college while vlogging. People stare at me but I don't care. I love doing this. But it is Sunday, eleventh of November and it is Veterans Day. I come from a military family. My grandpa was in the war. My uncle is one of those on-call people. It's like he goes when they need him. And also my brother is in the military. He's been away for almost a year and I miss him a lot. But I'm just about to shoot a video and that is what I'm actually going to be talking about. I clicked the record button and sat down.
"Hello peoples of the world! My name is Trish and today is Veterans Day! Now I'm talking about Veterans Day because I come from a military family. My grandpa served in the war for twenty years or so. My uncle is an occasional call. He serves at times when they need a recruit. About a year ago he came back home after being gone for almost two years. But the thing that makes me the most sad but yet proud is that my brother is in the military and is serving right now. He's been gone for just over seven months and I really miss him. We were extremely close but I have to thank him for serving The States. So bro, if you are watching this then I want to say thank you and I really miss you. Love you bro. I really do appreciate everything that the American soldiers have done to protect this country. I can't thank them enough. Now I am ending as a short video but I still have to get school work done. But thank you so much to you people and to the soldiers. Like this video and comment below if you have someone dear to you that is serving your country. I love you peoples and I will see you soon! Bye!" I saluted goodbye this time. I stopped recording.
I never thought that talking about my family could make me upset. I really do have to finish some school work then edit this video. I'm too upset to do so though. I have to focus though because I need to get an A on that English essay. I've always hated English.
