Madeleine x Espresso Cookie :D

Madeleine walked into the hall, looking around. It was about four in the morning... but he still heard something going on in the basement. Wait, that was where Espresso's laboratory- oh gosh. Espresso hadn't been getting sleep at all the past few days, and Madeleine really didn't like that. He was concerned for his boyfriend's health, and he looked at the door leading to the laboratory. He sighed, but he was sure this time he could get Espresso to rest. He went to the door, and opened it. 

He made his way down the stairs, already hearing the grumbles from his partner. He reached the bottom of the stairs, and looked up to see a dark haired male leaning over a desk, looking at papers. Other papers were strewn across the desk, some crumpled up. There were also many ingredients everywhere, the place kind of looked like a mess.

 It surprised Madeleine, usually Espresso was neat and organized, but the whole place looked like a tornado had gone through it. Espresso's hair was messy as well, as if he had been working on this the whole night... that worried Madeleine. He walked over to the grumbling mess, and he wrapped his arms around Espresso. He took Espresso's arms in his own, making Espresso jump and drop the pencil he was holding. He looked and saw it was only Madeleine, which made him relax.

"Hey Madeleine, what are you doing up this late? You should be in bed." Espresso squinted his eyes at Madeleine, but it wasn't that intimidating since he looked extremely tired. Madeleine turned Espresso to face him, still holding his arms. 

"I could say the same thing to you, Essy what are you doing up this late..? You're going to be tired tomorrow." Madeleine tilted his head to the side, which made Espresso's expression soften a bit. He loved it when his boyfriend tilted his head, but he shook his head to quickly look back at his partner.

"No, I'm running on enough energy, I'll make it through the day," Espresso visibly tried to cross his arms, but then realized Madeleine was still holding them. Espresso was sure that his boyfriend hadn't noticed how tired Espresso had been, and how Espresso hadn't been getting any sleep the past few days. Madeleine shook his head.

"I've noticed that you've been exhausted the last few days, and I know that you're only running on caffeine, you haven't gotten any sleep. Plus it is lonely in bed without my boyfriend there with me." Madeleine gave Espresso a soft smile, to which Espresso looked away. He had dark circles under his eyes... which he was sure Madeleine could see. He was hesitating, but he could hear the worry and concern in Madeleine's voice. He looked at his laboratory, but felt a warm hand take his chin and make him look back at Madeleine.

"Please... just for one night, I promise." Madeleine gave him a somewhat pleading look, and Espresso still looked away. He then thought about it, and could feel Madeleine's hand let go of his chin to mess with his hair a little bit. Espresso could see the mess in his laboratory... ok. He sighed with defeat, and looked up at Madeleine to squint his eyes at him.

"Okay. But only for one night." Espresso huffed, and Madeleine smiled a little. He then grinned a little, and nodded. He suddenly picked up Espresso, holding him close to prevent him from falling. Espresso yelped a little with surprise, looking at Madeleine.

"What are you-"

"I know you're tired, so I'm gonna carry you back to the room." Madeleine smiled, and Espresso knew there was no changing Madeleine's mind. He huffed again, and crossed his arms. His body seemed to go against him as he leaned against his partner, who laughed a little. Madeleine turned off the basement light before walking up the stairs, holding his sleepy lover in his arms. He then walked to the bedroom, and when he got there, he grinned a bit.

"Heh, now we can cuddle as well, would you like that?" Madeleine smiled and looked down a Espresso, but didn't get a response. Espresso had fallen asleep, softly mumbling in his sleep. Madeleine softly smiled, his heart warming at the sight. He took off Espresso's dirty glasses, setting them on the nightstand as he also set Espresso in bed. Madeleine smiled, but then got an idea. Since Espresso wasn't a light sleeper, it should work. Madeleine walked over to the closet, and rummaged through it. He found one of his t-shirts, which he had figured out were too big for Espresso. He then walked over to the bed, and carefully undressed Espresso without waking him up. He then put the t-shirt on him, somehow finding a way to do it even with Espresso sleeping. He then sighed with relief, and got in the bed behind his lover. He hugged Espresso close, spooning him as he gave his boyfriend a kiss on the cheek.

"I love you my sleeping beauty..."

A/N: I loved writing that oh mah god- but I hope you all enjoyed it too! Tell me if anyone's too OOC, but I am trying my best. Tell me if there's any grammar mistakes as well, but I hope you all enjoyed this! Maybe a continuation that will be in the morning?? Maybe? Probably ;w;
